This study starts from the background of increasingly fierce competition for high-level talents.With the increasing number of overseas students,the status of cross-cultural adaptation needs to be paid constant attention.In this study,qualitative research methods were used to investigate the cross-cultural adaptation of Chinese government students in the United States,summarize the cross-cultural adaptation of Chinese government students in the United States,and further explore the causes behind it.This study using the concept of culture shock,and through the United States to pay students cultural adaptation on a summary the diachronic process after found that affect to the professional students of cultural adaptation can be divided into internal factors and external factors,the United States for most of the professional students,two kinds of influence factors is often synergy,bring a variety of inconvenience to their cultural adaptation.In the part of internal factors,stress response,cognitive fatigue,role conflict and personal conflict are analyzed from four different dimensions.In the part of external factors,language barriers,cultural differences,the relationship with external guidance and discrimination and prejudice are analyzed from four different dimensions.Based on the above problems,and combined with the interview results of professional students,targeted to pay for international students is summarized in the preparation before departure,the adjustment of the transitional phase,personal and social relations and upgrading self-awareness and so on various aspects of the corresponding countermeasures,in order to improve the cross-cultural ability to adapt to travel to the United States to professional students also work for the management of the professional students to provide a few Suggestions.
