Based on the theory of Basic Position in Transactional Analysis and combined with methods of school social work,this study explores the way of changing the students’ OK Corral under the intervention of school social work through the classical experiment design and quasi-experimental design.It finds the way to perfect the OK Corral,enriches the empirical research of the theory of Basic Position,innovates the school social work methods by combining theory and practice,and provides an operation mode which can promote the construction of psychological health education in secondary schools at all levels in our country and improve students’ psychological health level efficiently and applicably.The experiment which controls the four dimensions of Basic Position as the core variables has significantly meliorated students’ OK Corral and improved their mental status by experimental stimulus.The four dimensions are "I+," I-","U+" and" U-".The experimental stimulus is a group work service program which planned to change the four dimensions.The results of the pre-and post-test experiments verified the following four experimental hypotheses by quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.Three hypotheses are confirmed.Firstly,experiment intervention has a significantly positive influence on students’ OK Corral.Secondly,there exists significant improvements in OK Corral of students from the experimental group(Class A),compared with that of students from the control group(Class B).Thirdly,students from experimental group who got lower scores in terms of OK Corral in pre-test undergo significantly higher improvement in scores of post-test,compared with those who had higher scores in pre-test.But,another hypothesis is not true.Whether the students come from junior high school or senior high school doesn’t have significant impact on students’ performance in OK Corral in the experiment.The study comes to the conclusion that the improvement effect of students’ OK Corral of different sexes and grades shows no significant difference under intervention of school social work drawn through comparative.So the intervention methods are general and applicable.
