Research On Value Orientation Of Scientific And Technological Workers In Universities In The New Era

Scientific and technological workers in universities are the important part of scientific research and higher education in China.With the advent of technology strategy,scientific and technological workers in universities is playing an increasingly important role in the development of the country and society.Correct value orientation is the key factor to ensure efficiency and direction of the work.At present,China has entered the new era,the value orientation of scientific and technological workers has changed significantly,which shows a diversified trend.Moreover,scientific and technological workers have begun to breed some negative value orientations,which lead to the emergence of academic misconduct,corruption and degeneration.Therefore,how to guide scientific and technological workers to establish a correct value orientation has become a problem that can not be ignored.Therefore,this paper studies the value orientation of scientific and technological workers in universities in the new era.Firstly,through questionnaires,the value orientation of scientific and technological workers in universities is investigated from four aspects including life value orientation,moral value orientation,professional value orientation and political value orientation.Judging from the survey results,most of the scientific and technological workers in universities have the positive value orientation of pursuing win-win cooperation,attaching importance to scientific research results,paying attention to professional responsibility and maintaining patriotic consciousness.However,it is worth noting that there are still some negative value orientations among scientific and technological workers in universities,including the emphasis on personal interests,the lack of academic morality,the pursuit of material conditions and the deviation of political orientation.These negative value orientations have had a certain negative impact on the scientific research activities and the development of universities.The reasons for these negative value orientations mainly include three aspects: the deviation of the self-orientation of scientific and technological workers in universities,the imperfect construction of scientific research environment in universities,and the indistinct role of social regulation and supervision.In order to correct these negative values effectively,we need to work on three aspects,including clarifying the self-orientation of scientific and technological workers,improving the construction of scientific research environment in universities,and giving full play to the role of social regulation and supervision.According to the survey results and the current academic environment,this paper puts forward the positive value orientation that scientific and technological workers in universities should possess in the new era,including four levels of seeking truth and goodness,advocating truth and sense,seeking innovation with doubts,and strengthening cooperation and self-reliance.Moreover,the cultivation of positive value orientation can be achieved by actively promoting scientific and technological practice activities,strengthening the reflection on scientific and technological achievements,and giving full play to the edification and leading role of scientific spirit,so as to comprehensively improve the professional quality and scientific research level of scientific and technological workers in universities,in order to provide strong support for the technology strategy of our country.
