The Mental health is directly related to the overall development of junior high school students,and has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.Physical education plays a vital role in improving the mental health level of junior high school students,and the exercise load in teaching affects the quality of teaching and students' mental health.Taking the relationship between exercise load and mental health in teaching as a breakthrough point,this study tries to clarify the current situation of exercise load in junior middle school physical education teaching,to understand the mental health status of junior middle school students,and to explore the impact of different loads on different dimensions of mental health of junior middle school students,so as to design,control and improve the mental health status and cultivation of junior middle school students in physical education teaching.Rational and peaceful healthy mentality provides guidance.Through the research methods of literature,field investigation,questionnaire,experiment and mathematical statistics,this paper understands the current situation of sports load and mental health of junior middle school students in Jinan experimental junior middle school.On this basis,140 students in Grade 8 are studied experimentally.The control class is taught according to the traditional teaching mode,and the heart rate of students is controlled at120-135 times/min.In the experimental class,10 minutes of physical exercises are arranged in each class,and the learning of sports skills is integrated into the 20-minute competition.The heart rate is controlled in the range of 135-150 times per minute.The mental health status of students before and after the experiment is compared,so as to study the influence of exercise load on the mental health dimensions of junior middle school students in physical education.The results of the investigation and research are as follows:(1)There are some problems in current junior middle school physical education teaching,such as low exercise load,insufficient exercise time for students,inadequate exercise,lack of correct understanding of exercise load for teachers and so on;(2)There are problems in various dimensions of junior middle school students' mental health,the most prominent of which are learning pressure and emotional imbalance.The results of the experiment:(1)After the experiment,the scores of interpersonal tension and sensitivity,learning pressure,maladjustment and emotional balance of the students in the experimental class decreased significantly(p < 0.05),but there was no significant difference in the scores of psychological balance dimension(p > 0.05);(2)After the experiment,the scores of maladjustment dimension of the students in the control class decreased significantly(p < 0.05).There was no significant difference in other dimensions(p > 0.05).Conclusion:(1)At present,there are still many problems in sports load in junior middle school physical education teaching.Teachers can not regulate sports load timely and effectively.(2)At present,the mental health problems of junior high school students are caused by many reasons,which requires the joint efforts of all sectors to improve the mental health of junior high school students.(3)Different Sports Loads in physical education play different roles in different dimensions of junior middle school students' mental health.Medium load has positive effects on interpersonal tension and sensitivity,learning pressure,maladjustment and emotional balance in mental health,but has no obvious effect on psychological balance.Low load has positive effects on the adaptive dimension of mental health and other dimensions.The effect is not obvious.
