As China enters a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the Party Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core,pays more and more attention to the construction of talent team,and has repeatedly stressed the necessity,timeliness and urgency of talent training.As the cradle of talent training,it is urgent for colleges and universities to meet the needs of the times and society and cultivate high-quality,strong skills and innovative talents.Today,with the rapid development of information technology,the enrollment scale of colleges and universities is expanding constantly,and the comprehensive quality of students is high or low.There are various problems in the management of colleges and universities.In terms of personnel management,the management of counselors' talents is quite outstanding.Compared with undergraduate colleges,the overall ability and quality of students and counselors in higher vocational colleges are relatively low,resulting in greater difficulty and pressure in their management.In order to achieve the goal of talent cultivation,higher vocational colleges must renew their ideas,change their thinking,and effectively manage counselors' talents.Project management is the most widely used and popular management tool in the world.It plays an important role in various fields and creates huge social and economic wealth.It is a very effective management concept and management mode.Since 2015,the scale of GT Vocational College has been expanding and the number of students has been increasing,which has brought many challenges to the management of the College.Faced with the challenge,the college has launched a number of talent projects,such as the Master Studio project,the integration ofindustry and education personnel training project,young backbone teachers training project,counselor personnel project,etc.Several other projects of the college have achieved good results,but the counselor talent project is lagging behind and has little effect.In this paper,using the methods of literature,comparative research and investigation,the problems existing in the project management of GT vocational college counselors are systematically analyzed.According to the survey,there are some problems in GT Vocational College counselors' talent project management,such as lack of project management concept,inadequate implementation of personnel selection criteria,limited incentives,deviation of project evaluation mechanism orientation,and ineffective utilization of project evaluation results.In view of these problems,the paper systematically explores the causes of the problems and the corresponding countermeasures by using the relevant theories and ideas of project management.The paper holds that the main causes of GT Vocational College Counselors' talent project management problems are that college leaders do not pay enough attention to counselors' talent project,personnel selection system is not perfect,the relationship between responsibilities and powers is not clear enough,incentive mechanism is not strong enough,evaluation mechanism is not perfect enough,counselors' personal quality is not high enough.For these reasons,based on project management,the paper also puts forward six countermeasures and suggestions from six aspects:strengthening project management concept,improving talent selection system,improving incentive mechanism,clarifying the relationship between responsibility and power,implementing quantitative assessment,and doing a good job in training counselors.
