Since the 1980s,private colleges and universities in China have made significant progress in past forty years.Especially when entering a new century,Chinese private colleges and universities have witnessed an increasing development,A great number of private colleges and universities are prominent during the competition,gradually developing into a larger and stronger institution.Frankly speaking,a high qualified teaching staff played an important role in this development.At the present stage,however.there are growing number of problems faced by the construction and management of teaching staff in private colleges and universities such as the scarcity of construction expense;the instability of teaching staff and the irrational structure of teams.Such problems restricted the further development of private colleges and universities.Researching and solving these problems tend to be the prerequisite of self-development performed by private higher education and teachers in private colleges and universities.Forming a group of high-qualified teaching staff is of great importance to promote private colleges and university as well as the entire education system.Firstly,Literature Analysis Method was adopted to summarize the research on the construction of teaching staff and management problems in private colleges and universities both home and abroad in order to identify the problems and analyze its causes.Secondly after applying Case Analysis Method such as K-a private university in Beijing,we will analyze the current situation and problems when constructing and managing teaching staff.Meanwhile from the perspective of external level,internal level of school and individual level of teachers,the causes of the problems will be analyzed.In the end,based on the Method of Comparative Analysis,suggestions concerning the optimization and management of teaching staff will be given in term of expense resources,stability of teaching staff and promotion of structure for teaching staff after analyzing and drawing lessons from advanced experience in foreign countries.Here are several advices:firstly to construct multi-sources of expense to ensure the cost of construction in teaching staff;secondly to form a stable team by government,society and private colleges and universities to improve its standard;thirdly to introduce full-time and part-time teachers and to formulate related regulations to optimize the structure of teaching staff in term of training.Adopting all measures simultaneously creates a group of stable and high-qualified teachers to improve competitiveness of school and pioneer a new road for sustainable development of private colleges and universities.
