Private applied universities have become an important part of higher education in China and have made important contributions to the popularization of China's higher education.The 19thCPC National Congress pointed out the new course for China's education,and the General Secretary Xi Jinping made an important speech on national education conference in September 2018,expounded new era education work in comprehensive systematic and intensive way,deeply answered fundamental questions of"cultivating what person,how to cultivate people and cultivating people for who".Undergraduate education is at the core of talent cultivation and plays an important role in education and teaching.Based on the engagement with requirement of the new era,in the background of overall revitalization of undergraduate education,it is extremely urgent to improve the quality of education and teaching for private applied undergraduate university.In order to win the competitive advantage and realize the healthy and sustainable development,private applied universities must strengthen the connotation construction,especially the construction of teachers.Because"the teacher is the human soul engineer and the human civilization inheritor,carrying the responsibility of disseminating knowledge,disseminating idea,disseminating truth,shaping the soul,shaping life,shaping the new generation".In the long-term and arduous systematic project of strengthening the construction of university teachers,it is not only necessary and urgent but also of great practical significance to research intensively on the teacher construction of private applied undergraduate university.Based on existing research results,this report uses the human resources management theory,two-factor theory and equity theory,adopts the method of literature study and case analysis,take private applied undergraduate colleges and universities of Sichuan province as the research object,take Sichuan X Institute as an example,analyzes its teachers construction,existing problems and causes.Combining with the countermeasures and suggestions to the current policies and regulations,the teachers construction of Sichuan private applied undergraduate colleges and universities can be provided some useful reference and guidance.Under the guidance of Xi Jinping thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,it can become a first-class university,and transform from"run-up"to"strong-up"and"refined-up",and finally become a"century-old famous university".This paper is divided into six parts.The introduction is mainly about the problem,the practical significance of the research,the review of the research status,research methods and ideas.Chapter one is the general situation of teacher construction.The second chapter is about the development of private colleges and universities in Sichuan province.Chapter third analyzes the existing problems and causes of the construction of the teaching staff in Sichuan X University.The fourth chapter is about the countermeasures and Suggestions for the construction of teachers in private colleges and universities in Sichuan province.The last part is the research conclusion.
