The anti-frustration ability of young children is the tolerance and ability of children to withstand setbacks in the fields of life,study and communication.It is a prerequisite for ensuring children's physical and mental health and adapting to social life.Studies have shown that the anti-frustration ability of young children is the fastest in 3-4 years old,so we will be able to effectively promote the anti-frustration ability of young children by experimental intervention at this stage.The picture in the picture book is vivid and easy to understand.The story content is close to the life of the child and has rich educational value.In this study,taking the picture book teaching as the intervention method,two classes were selected as a research object in a small class of a public kindergarten in Tianjin Binhai New Area,which was randomly determined as the experimental group and the control group,with 30 children in each group.Before the experiment,the experimental group and the control group were pre-tested.After that the experimental group carried out a series of picture-based activity for 8 weeks and twice a week,while the control group conducted normal daily teaching activities without teaching the picture books.But the picture books are placed in the book area for children to read independently,and the test is performed after the experiment is over.Through the research,we found the following conclusions:1.Picture book teaching can promote the development of small class children's ability to resist setbacks.2.Picture book teaching can promote the six dimensions of small class children's ability to resist frustration.3.The effect of picture book teaching on small class children's frustration,learning frustration,life setback tolerance and learning frustration tolerance is more prominent.According to the research findings,the following educational recommendations are proposed:1.Teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of anti-frustration ability of small class children.2.Pay attention to the common development of different dimensions of children's anti-frustration ability.3.Pay attention to the emotional experience of young children.4.Emphasize the role of role performance and sharing communication in picture book teaching.5.Prepare a garden reading that meets the development needs of children in this class.
