Children's ability to resist setbacks is the ability of children to endure,resist and resolve setbacks.It is indispensable for young children to adapt to the social environment,and it is also an important content of children's mental health and sound personality.Early childhood is the key period for the development of anti-frustration ability.It is of great significance to improve the anti-setback ability of young children through effective frustration education for their healthy growth.However,there are many problems in the frustration education of kindergarten at present.Therefore,this study tries to take the picture book which is very popular among children as the carrier of carrying out frustration education in kindergarten,and explore the feasibility and effective application strategy of applying picture book to carry out frustration education for young children.Kindergarten teachers carry out frustration education activities to provide a reference for reference and practical reference.In this study,two large classes from a demonstration kindergarten in Minhang district of Shanghai were selected,one of which was the experimental class and the other class was the control class.The control class does not carry out special frustration education activities,but does random guidance according to occasional setbacks in daily life,while the experimental class is divided into two groups,focusing on how to face failure,how to face criticism,how to face rejection,and how to face misunderstanding.How to face the loss,how to face the inferiority,how to face the mistakes and so on seven kinds of children's common frustration situation theme,selected fourteen related frustration theme picture book to carry out the kindergarten frustration collective education activity.Through the plan-action-rethinking-replanning-reacting-rethinking-rethinking action research process of seven action cycles and fourteen small action cycles,the research conclusions are drawn around the research issues.The results show that it is feasible to carry out the frustration education of large class children through picture book,and it can effectively improve the anti-setback ability of large class children.The selection of picture book,the design of picture book teaching and the implementation of picture book teaching should be used to carry out the frustration education of large class children effectively.First of all,the choice of picture book should accord with the requirements of physical and mentaldevelopment of large class children.Also to meet the standards and requirements of excellent picture books,but also to fit the theme of frustration education for young children;Secondly,in the design of picture book teaching,the following two points should be achieved: one is to deal with the picture book story according to the need,to highlight the theme of frustration education,and the other is to deal with it from easy to difficult.Arrange the content and teaching link of the picture book according to the principle of hierarchy;Finally,in the implementation of picture book teaching,we can not only use a variety of picture book teaching strategies to help young children understand the content of the story,but also use the picture book story to develop effective extension activities.You can also use the independent reading strategy reasonably according to the needs of the picture book.Based on the research conclusion,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: first of all,in kindergarten,we should pay attention to the important value of picture book in children's frustration education,and create a suitable setback education environment.To provide theoretical and technical support for teachers to carry out frustration education activities,and to strengthen home cooperation to jointly carry out frustration education for young children;Secondly,the preschool teachers themselves should enhance their ability to interpret the frustration education elements contained in the picture book,to enhance the ability to observe the children's frustration experience and grasp the educational opportunity,and to improve the professional ability of using the picture book to carry out the frustration education activities.
