The new curriculum reform emphasizing the ideological guidance of students and the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture,focusing on the cultivation of students' national feelings and social responsibilities.With its unique comprehensiveness and vitality,geography plays an important role in the increasingly competitive international development.Junior high school geography lays emphasis on cultivating students' analytical ability and critical spirit,and improving students' ability of higher-order thinking.As an important theory of learning science,focusing on students' active construction of knowledge and its transfer and application,to obtain the ability to solve problems.The eighth grade takes "Chinese geography" as its teaching content.It focuses on the cultivation of students' concern for the national conditions and the earth,which is of great value to the implementation of Lide-Shuren.The author reads a large number of domestic and foreign literature,summarizes the connotation,influencing factors,characteristics and promotion strategies of deep learning,and analyses the current research situation of deep learning theory at and abroad.In addition,she defines the connotation of deep learning according to her own understanding,expounds the characteristics of deep learning,and lays a theoretical foundation.The author investigates 47 geography teachers in Grade 8 in middle schools in Tianjin by means of questionnaires.In view of the problems found in the questionnaire survey,the author,on the basis of the theory of in-depth learning summarized,the standards of geography curriculum for Grade 8 and the contents of the textbooks published by the People' s Education Press,puts forward the learning methods of deepening geography classroom from the four parts of premise,implementation,achievement and evaluation of in-depth learning,and demonstrates them with typical cases of teaching in Grade 8.At the same time,the author makes an analysis of the complete teaching cases of the teachers on the course "Territory" in the first section of the first chapter of the eighth grade geography volume of PEP,and further demonstrates the effectiveness and scientificity of the learning strategies proposed to achieve in-depth learning.The purpose of this study is to integrate the theory of in-depth learning into the content of Geography in China,promote students to develop knowledge into competence and apply it to practice,which is of great significance in constructing the classroom of in-depth learning of Geography in Grade 8 and guiding the classroom teaching of geography teachers in junior middle schools.
