Students with learning difficulties refer to "students with poor academic performance whose intelligence is within the normal range,but whose academic performance fails to meet their intelligence level due to different reasons".Learning motivation is "the internal psychological motivation to cause and maintain individual learning activities and make learning tend to a certain goal to meet certain learning needs".At present,students with Chemistry learning difficulties in rural high schools are widely exist and their learning motivation is quite weak.This is mainly reflected in the long-term failure of examinations,the indifferent attitude towards academic performance,the unwillingness to attend classes,and the lack of study time after class.In order to understand the details of students' chemistry learning motivation,analyze the reasons for the lack of motivation,and propose improvement strategies in a targeted manner,the author conducted this research.By means of literature review,questiornaire survey,interview and test?this paper investigate eight dimensions of learning motivation and influencing factors of learning-difficulty students in rural high schools and propose strategies to stimulate and cultivate learning motivation of them according to the results of the survey.Under the guidance of the related theories of learning motivation,referring to the questionnaire design of Yu Fang(2012)in the article "Investigation and Countermeasure Research on the Current Situation of Chemistry Learning Motivation of Key High School Students in Urban Areas",I designed a questionnaire of chemistry learning motivation,which tested the students' learning motivation of achievement,discipline values,self-efficacy and so on.The results showed that the learning motivation of students with learning difficulties in rural high schools in Huangpi District is strong.Intermal motivation is the main motivation,while extermal motivation is not obvious.The most important factors affecting the learning motivation of the students are self-efficacy and subject values.There is a positive correlation between academic achievement and learning motivation.And there is no significant correlation between gender and learning motivation in most dimensions,but boys are significantly better than girls in teacher-student relationship.Then some students and teachers were interviewed.The results showed that the learning motivation of the students with learning difficulties was moderate,and the initiative of chemistry learning was not enough.Some teachers paid attention to the cultivation of studentsf learning motivation in teaching,but there were also problems such as sea-question tactics and full-room irrigation.So the author puts forward the teaching strategies of stimulating learning interest in multiple ways,carrying out teaching activities from multiple perspectives and improving teachers' charm in various aspects.Finally,through the teaching practice of the "Chemical reaction and energy,section of Compulsory ? from PEP,the students' motivation for learning is obviously enhanced,and their academic achievement is improved,which verifies the effectiveness of the strategy.
