With the deepening of China's education reform,key competencies have become a hot topic.And cultivating students' key competencies has become the primary task of school education at present.The newly published "Common Senior High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017)" clearly defines the key competencies in terms of chemistry learning for the first time,pointing out the direction of cultivating students'key competencies.Chemistry,as a natural science,is closely related to the development of society,production and human life.It is an important link between students' theory knowledge and real life.Therefore,it is of particular significance to develop students'key competencies in chemistry.How to cultivate students' key competencies of chemistry in daily teaching has become a common concern of chemistry teachers.In order to infiltrate key competencies into daily teaching,it's the teachers' priority to design key competencies based teaching activities.The existing research achievements grasped,this paper sorts out the factors that contribute to the appearance of the term as well as the research situation,through which the purposes,significance,clues and strategies of my research have become clear.Clarifying the connotation of key competencies in chemistry,the author puts forward the teaching design mode based on key competencies,under the guidance of constructivism and humanism theory.Taking the students in the first grade of Huaibei Experimental Senior High School as the research object,the author carries out a six-month teaching practice to analyze the development of students' key competencies and to compare the differences of the traditional teaching mode and the teaching mode based on key competencies on students in all aspects,by synthesizing the test results of the experimental class and the control class before and after,using the methods of questionnaire,classroom observation,experiment and interview.The study shows that the new teaching mode can better promote students to improve their learning ability,refine necessary skills and establish correct values,which is more beneficial to students'future learning as well as overall development,and promotes students to become innovative talents equal to the need of social development.This paper is mainly divided into five parts to explain the main content of the study.In the first part,the author raises questions and summarizes the current research situation of key competencies at home and abroad,explaining the purpose,significance,ideas and methods of the study.In the second part,the author expounds the core concepts and theoretical basis of the study.In the third part,the author introduces the design of every part of the study in detail.In the fourth part,the author presents the results of the study from several aspects.In the fifth part,the author summarizes and discusses the research conclusions,explains the innovation points of the study,reflects the deficiencies of the study,and puts forward the prospect.
