With the continuous expansion of the influence of key competency in the field of education and the continuous advancement of educational reform, how to landing literacy has become a hot topic of exploration. The landing of key competencies mainly depends on the reform of education and teaching, and the reform of evaluation is an indispensable part of the reform of education and teaching. The new round of evaluation reform emphasizes the integration of teaching, learning and evaluation, the evaluation of students’ learning process and the change of students’ ability and literacy.Performance assessment is based on the real situation to evaluate students’ behavior in the process of completing tasks, and to evaluate students’ complex thinking ability. Therefore, performance assessment conforms to the trend of evaluation reform, and it has certain research value to design and apply project learning performance assessment under the guidance of key competency.Under the guidance of key competency, this study attempts to design performance assessment to evaluate students’ behavior in project-based learning of information technology in primary schools,to explore whether the combination of performance assessment and projectbased learning can effectively enhance students’ interest in learning, and whether it can promote students’ information identification, technology application, cooperative inquiry, problem solving, communication and expression through performance assessment. The development of combined ability. This study mainly uses literature research,Delphi method, case study method,quasi-experimental research method, questionnaire survey method and so on as research methods,in order to better integrate key competency with the implementation of curriculum teaching.Firstly, the author uses literature research method to analyze the research status of key competencies in information technology discipline, project learning in information technology discipline, performance assessment and performance assessment in project learning, and to determine the main content of the research.Secondly, the author analyses the necessity of implementing performance assessment in information technology project learning under the guidance of key competency.According to the characteristics of project learning and information technology, the author designs performance assessment criteria under the guidance of key competency, which includes five aspects: information identification, technology application, cooperative exploration, problem solving and communication expression.Delphi method is used to determine the performance assessment designed. The ability weights of five aspects of the scale were analyzed through the Kendall Harmony Coefficient. Finally, the author chooses two classes of grade six as case studies to explore the effectiveness and operability of performance assessment under the guidance of key competency in information technology subject project learning in primary schools.Classroom observation is used to record students’ behavior in the process of project learning.Quasi-experimental research is used to explore whether performance assessment can improve students’ performance.Questionnaire survey is used to find out whether students’ learning interest and comprehensive ability have improved.Through qualitative and quantitative analysis of the implementation effect of performance assessment, this study draws the following conclusions: it is urgent to implement performance assessment under the guidance of key competency in primary school information technology project learning.Performance assessment can improve students’ interest in learning to a certain extent,at the same time, enhance students’ enthusiasm in learning information technology courses and promote students’ information.Development of key competency such as discrimination, technology application, cooperative inquiry, communication and expression, and problem solving.Furthermore,it promotes the landing and development of key competency in information technology disciplines.
