Topic composition is a kind of writing form which is widely used in recent years.It gives students more space with an open proposition.Its flexibility,freedom and creativity are very suitable for the requirements of the present talent training.Writing around the topic also conforms to the practical needs of the secondary vocational students.Therefore,topic composition has become a frequently used writing form in secondary vocational Chinese classes and examinations.However,its writing situation is not optimistic.In the actual teaching process,teachers often teach hard and students write painfully.In the course of writing teaching,teachers still use traditional teaching methods,organizing writing with results teaching method,pay attention to instillation and comment,but ignoring the teacher-teacher and teacher-student communication and writing process,which makes the lack of vitality and students' low interest in topic composition class.While students are limited in their decision and conception,they are unable to open their minds,resulting in similar works and lack of originality in writing.Therefore,effective teaching methods and approaches are urgently needed in topic composition teaching.The process teaching method puts the emphasis on the students' writing process and pays attention to the aspects of conception,intention,material selection and modification.In the course of teaching,it pays attention mainly to the students.Students can express their views and opinions freely in the classroom.They really become the subject of writing and their enthusiasm for writing is inspired and their good writing habits are cultivated.Since its birth,process teaching has been widely used in Western writing teaching and proved its teaching value,thus making it a kind of writing teaching method which is worthy of reference and use.As a thinking schema,Thinking Map has been widely used in western teaching.It can train not only students' divergent thinking ability,but also students' logical thinking ability.It has become a kind of teaching method which has been popularized and applied since primary schools in the West.In writing,Thinking Map can help secondary vocational students develop their ideas,divert their thinking,open their ideas,and helps to develop logical thinking,organize a clear and structured outline of writing,and assist in the writing of topic composition.Therefore,this study mainly explores the feasibility and effectiveness of the application of Thinking Map and process teaching method in the topic composition teaching of secondary vocational school students,hoping to provide some reference for the teaching of secondary vocational topic composition.This study mainly compares the situation of using Thinking Map and process teaching method in the secondary vocational topic composition teaching using the questionnaire survey method.Through the questionnaire,the first hand information is obtained,the quantitative analysis is carried out,and the reliable results are obtained.Through interviews,case studies,and action research methods,the students' feelings and views before and after the use of Thinking Map and process writing are obtained,so the effect of the study is got and the teaching strategies are probed into.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the background,significance,status and methods of the study;the second part clarifies the concept and characteristics of Thinking Map and process teaching method as well as the combination of the two explores the value of the introducing of the two parties to the topic composition teaching in secondary vocational school;the third part gets the problems in the topic composition writing and teaching through the questionnaire survey method,and analyzes the problems in the teaching of secondary vocational school students,analyses the causes of the problem;the fourth part considers the corresponding countermeasures and carries out teaching design and teaching practice around the Thinking Map and process teaching method;the fifth part analyzes and summaries the teaching effect of the process teaching method and the Thinking Map and offers the suggestions in view of the shortcomings of the application.
