With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology,the information environment we are exposed to tends to be diversified,and the impact of information technology on human beings is increasing.In the current diversified environment,the cultivation of information literacy is more important than any previous one.Freshmen just stepped into higher education from basic education,To understand the information literacy status of freshmen,find out the problems and the differences in information literacy levels among the student groups,in order to carry out better information literacy education during the university,and provide a certain theoretical basis and reference value to the education of freshmen's information.Literacy Based on the definition of information literacy at home and abroad,this study refers to the evaluation index system of information literacy of primary and secondary school students in China,survey on the status quo of information literacy of college freshmen in Guangxi from six dimensions(information awareness,information knowledge,information ability,digital learning ability,information ethics and basic education).Stage information technology course education status),and analyze the influencing factors through semi-structured interviews.First,the study designed the pre-test questionnaire based on the six dimensions of the Survey of the Information Literacy Status of 2018 Freshmen in Local College.A total of 2095 undergraduate freshmen from Guangxi N University were selected as the respondents,and the first questionnaire was distributed and collected to the group.The data obtained were used as pre-test data.And use SPSS 22.0 to analysis the statistical of the survey data.It is found that out the freshmen are the most lacking in information ability,and other aspects need to be improved.And through the comparison of different student groups,there are significant differences between students of different professional categories.The level of information literacy of students in the region is uneven,and the level of student information literacy is positively correlated with the economy of the region.The sooner students receive education in information technology courses,the better the information literacy level is improved;the good information environment can help study.To improve the level of student information literacy.Secondly,in order to explore whether the information literacy level of the students has been improved after one semester of study,the information literacy survey was conducted again in the first grade at the beginning of the second semester of the freshman year,and the data obtained were used as post-test data.The survey found that after one semester of study,students' information literacy level has been significantly improved.The promotion path is mainly through the "University Computer Basics" course.In addition,some students are promoted through online self-study and peer-to-peer learning.Finally,through semi-structured interviews with freshmen,the qualitative analysis software NVIVO 11 is used to encode and analyze the interview data,and the factors affecting the information literacy of freshmen are summarized in five aspects: individual level,family level,school level,Social environment level and peer level.According to the results of survey data analysis,this study proposes the following aspects: First,improve and enhance the information environment;second,enrich the way students learn information literacy;third,improve students' information security awareness and promote network civilization The fourth is the motivation to stimulate learning and learning information literacy;the fifth is to pay attention to the peer learning effect and create a peer learning classroom.
