With mobile internet technology continues developing,smart phones have great potential in improving teaching effects and improving academic performance.Through the analysis of the existing research results and classroom observation,it is found that the present situation of classroom teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges is not optimistic,such as accumulation of learning knowledge points,lack of information processing,lack of the ability of critical understanding and thinking,lack of problem awareness,weak learning interaction and one-way transmission of information flow and so on.Although most of the Higher Vocational College students have certain information literacy,the self-motivation of online learning is not strong,and it is easy to be brought to the network by the entertainment in the network,which is addicted to the mobile phone.Based on the practical problems,this study constructs a “Mobile Classroom” in deep learning activity.By guiding students to use mobile phones correctly and effectively to participate in classroom learning activities,in order to promote Higher Vocational students to achieve in deep learning.This study combs and analyses the relevant literature about "deep learning" and "the application of smart phones in education and teaching" at home and abroad,and on this basis,it deeply analyses the connotation and characteristics of deep learning and the necessity of deep learning for Higher Vocational students,and the feasibility of using “Mobile Classroom” to promote the deep learning of Higher Vocational students.Based on the guidance of the information processing theory of Gahne,the Deep Learning Cycle proposed by Eric Jensnen and LeAnn Nickelsen,and the learning activity-centered teaching design model proposed by Yang Kaicheng,this paper constructs a general process of designing in deep learning activities for Higher Vocational students by using “Mobile Classroom” from the perspectives of learning,and further based on the goal and characteristics of "Mobile Classroom" deep learning activities,building and designing the process of three types of deep learning activities(problem inquiry,case analysis and works creation)with the “Mobile Classroom”.In order to test the effectiveness of using “Mobile Classroom” to promote the deep learning of Higher Vocational Colleges,the experimental teaching research is carried out with the help of two classes in the first grade of Z Higher Vocational Colleges in Zhejiang Province.The general process of designing in deep learning activities for Higher Vocational students by using “Mobile Classroom” is designed in conjunction with "English" curriculum to develop deep learning activities that promote student achieve deep learning.In the early stage of the experiment,through the analysis of the two dimensions of the experimental group and the control group,such as the Mid-term performance and the deep learning level,we can ensure that the initial learning level and the deep learning level of the students in the two classes are homogeneous.During the experiment implementation,the experimental group used the “Mobile Classroom” teaching method for classroom teaching,and the control group used traditional teaching methods for classroom teaching.After the end of the experimental teaching,quantitative evaluation of the academic performance and deep learning level of the experimental subjects was conducted through questionnaires and interviews.The qualitative evaluation of the experimental learning results of the experimental subjects was carried out by means of the SOLO classification method.The conclusions of this study include:(1)"Mobile Classroom" can improve the performance of students in Higher Vocational Colleges;(2)"Mobile Classroom" can improve the deep learning level of Higher Vocational students;(3)The deep learning activities constructed by “Mobile Classroom” can promote the students in Higher Vocational Colleges to achieve deep learning;(4)Experimental teacher and students tend to be more satisfied with the teaching method of " Mobile Classroom ".All in all,the deep learning activities constructed by "Mobile Classroom" in this study have a certain role in promoting the realization of deep learning for Higher Vocational students.To a certain extent,it provides ideas and practical guidance for the development of "Mobile Classroom" learning activities in Higher Vocational Colleges.
