The rapid development of science and technology constantly refresh people's original cognition,and scientific literacy has become the basic quality of every citizen in the 21st century.How to cultivate and improve national scientific literacy has become an important issue.Science course is the main way for the state to cultivate and improve national scientific literacy.In September 2017,science was added to the compulsory education course in the first grade of primary school as a basic course,which shows the importance and foundation of science in school education.However,science course in China has not been paid enough attention for a long time.Teachers are facing many difficulties in the process of organizing and carrying out teaching activities.Students understanding of knowledge remains at the surface level,and deep inquiry learning becomes an empty talk.Fortunately,the rapid development of science and technology has attracted the attention of the field of education.The innovation of classroom teaching supported by technology and tools has become one of the hotspots of educational researchers.In this context,the study introduces augmented reality technology into science course teaching in primary schools.Through the improvement and optimization of teaching methods,teaching environment and teaching aids,it aims to enhance learning motivation and promote the deep learning of science course,This paper proposes a design model of deep learning activities based on AR from the perspective of deep learning,and designs learning activities and practices.The study will be carried out in the following ways:(1)Based on the deep learning theory,situational learning theory and activity theory,and taking into account the science course' standards,nature,content and other factors,a learning activity design model based on AR is constructed from the perspective of deep learning.(2)Embodiment of learning activity design patterns.Based on the constructed activity design model,this paper designs learning activity cases and corresponding teaching and learning resources for the sixth grade's science course in elementary school.(3)Carry out teaching practice activities,collect data,analyze the results,and explore whether learning activities based on augmented reality have significant influence on learning motivation and learning effect,and whether they can promote depth learning to a certain extent.After the teaching practice,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Learning activities based on AR in the perspective of deep learning can stimulate learning interest and significantly enhance students' learning motivation.(2)AR based learning activities can promote the occurrence of students' deep learning to a certain extent.(3)The degree of learners' engagement in learning behavior(especially emotional engagement)is related to the learner's individual,teacher's language and behavior,and the content of specific learning activities.(4)Timely feedback and process evaluation can enhance students' enthusiasm for learning,strengthen learning motivation,increase the level of learning behavior input,and increase the probability of deep learning.(5)AR based primary school science learning activities have little impact on improving the level of emotional investment in learning and autonomous learning ability,and have no significant impact on the autonomous learning ability required by deep learning.
