Resilience In Minor-children Of Jailed Parents

At present,the group of minor children of jailed parents is relatively low in social attention,which is often generally placed in the range of children in distress,thus ignoring its particularity.As a "hidden plight group",after the imprisonment of their parents,they will suffer from the risks of lack of custody,emotional pressure,deviant behavior and other risks caused by the separation of parents and children,as well as secondary risks such as stigmatization and peer alienation,so that individuals will face more challenges than "left-behind" in the process of growing up.But it also found that some children are able to adapt well,achieve successful resilience and even develop better in times of adversity.Early adverse experiences may not always have a negative impact on individuals,but sometimes become the motivation for some individuals to "fight against the fate" and surpass the status quo.For minor children of jailed parents,what factors lead to the successful resilience of some individuals? How do these factors affect the formation of resilience mechanisms?Can social work services help nurture and increase resilience? This is the core problem of this study.The study conducted a resilience study on the developmental performance of minor children of jailed parents in their ecosystems,found that individuals in the micro system has good self cognition,positive psychology,a good academic record forms the core of art force generated resources,such as medium system has a good family communication mechanism,and the appropriate family rule,positive family expectations are promoting resources of art force generated,external system has a harmonious relationship between teachers and students,the teachers' positive expectation,good peer relations,professional social work services,and so on constitute art force generated by the support resources.The formation of resilience of minor children of jailed parents is a process of integration of protective resources under multi-system.On the basis of the protective resources distribution condition of each system,art force theory as the instruction,to select the inmates of minor children develop and implement the art force fostering social work practice scheme,the control group without any intervention into them,the conclusion of the research on resilience was tested by pre-and post-test and interview evaluation,and the research hypothesis that resilience can be improved through cultivation was verified;Thus,it can be concluded that the process of resilience generation of minor children of jailed parents roughly follows the dynamic path of "adversity generation--resource integration--balance--reconstruction--adaptation or better development".Social work services play an active role in the practice of resilience cultivation and have multiple advantages.Finally,the study discussed and reflected on the protection of minor children of jailed parents and the participation of social work in the cultivation of resilience,and then proposed the idea of interdisciplinary cooperation in the protection and resilience cultivation of minors in the future.
