Research On The Rsilience Of Prisoner’s Minor-children

With the rising of the crime rate and the variation of crime forms, the number of personsserving sentences is also on the rise, and the problems of their underage children is becoming moreand more serious, and thus, it has aroused great concern from the community. Now, scholars fromdomestic and abroad try to discuss this issue from varied perspectives of the relevant policies,social assistance, family relationships, and individual survival, growth and personality. However,few people practice their research and interpretation in the Strength Perspective, from this point,they try to find the potentialities of these children. What’s more, the existing research isresults-oriented, their description and theoretical analysis is from the objective and external point.Therefore, the concern and analysis of their living world is lacking. Also, they discern theirchildren’s ability to fight against adversity, the researchers do not exactly consider the problemfrom the view of the people who is being studied. I probe in the living world of the underagechildren of the persons serving sentences basing on a neutral attitude and the Strength Perspective,trying to find the dynamic process that the forming of the ability to fight against adversity whenthey facing adversities.In this study, I use the Grounded Theory, focus on the question of “How to deal with thefamily tragedies?”, and then try to investigate the protective factor, the risk factors and the processof forming strategies after the adversity event happened, and ultimately, I want to describe theappearance of the forming of the ability to fight against adversity.There are five chapters in this dissertation, which are:Preface, divided into four parts. The first part is the introduction of the background, the issue.The second part is the introduction of the purpose and the significance of this research. The thirdpart is a review of core terms, mainly about the underage children of the persons serving sentencesand the ability to fight against adversity. The fourth part is about the research method, the researchframework, the research process and the research ethics, and emphasized on the reliability andvalidity of this study.Chapter II to Chapter Ⅳ is the part of the discovery, mainly analyzed the protective factor andthe risk factors during the process of the forming of the ability fight against adversity. Then, Idescribe the strategy process and the logic of the behaviors, and finally, I want to present the goalsand the significance of the form of this ability.Chapter V is conclusion, summarized the whole dissertation. And then rethink and forecast theconclusion.
