Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture,one of the two Yi Autonomous Prefectures in China,has a long and rich Yi culture.Integrating the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum is of great significance to the inheritance of the Yi culture and the development of preschool education in the Yi area.This paper explores the status quo and influencing factors of the integration of the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum in Chuxiong area using literature review,questionnaire survey,interview and case study.First of all,this study conducts a questionnaire survey on the status quo of the integration of the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum among the principals and teachers of 16 urban and rural kindergartens in Chuxiong City,and further carries out an in-depth investigation using the interview method.It analyzes the concepts and behaviors at four links,namely,the objective,content,organization and implementation,and evaluation of the Yi culture curriculum in kindergartens,and compares the teachers of different regions and different ethnic groups.It is found that the objective,content,organization and implementation of integrating the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum are superior to the curriculum evaluation.The concepts and behaviors of the surveyed teachers in the Yi culture curriculum are superior to the curriculum organization.implementation and evaluation in terms of curriculum objectives and contents.The behavioral implementation of the urban and Yi teachers in the four links are superior to that of village and town and non-Yi teachers.Teachers from different regions and different ethnic groups have a consensus on the concept of curriculum objective,organization and implementation,but there are great differences in the behavioral level of eurriculum evaluation.Secondly,based on the status quo investigation,taking kindergarten A in Chuxiong City as the object of research,this paper analyzes the factors that influence the integration of the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum,including culture,society,kindergarten and teachers' individual factors.Among the cultural factors,the inheritance trend of the Yi culture,the recognition of the Yi culture by various groups and the appropriateness of the Yi culture contents have an impact on the inheritance and development of Chuxiong Yi culture and play a guiding role in the integration of the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum.Among social factors,government actions,community environlent and parental support provide external support for the allocation of resources related to the integration of the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum.Among the kindergarten factors,the principal's curriculum leadership,curriculum management methods and kindergarten environment provide a platform for the integration of the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum.Among the teachers' individual factors,teachers' cognition of Yi culture,understanding of Yi culture curriculum and practical ability are the key links to integrate the Yi culture into the kindergarten curriculum.Finally,based on the above conclusions,this study puts forward suggestions from the external environment,the kindergarten level and the teachers themselves,thereby providing ideas for the construction and development of the Yi culture curriculum in kindergartens.
