Research On The Status Quo Of The Integration Of Miao Culture Into Kindergarten Curriculum

Ethnic culture education is an important way to carry out ethnic culture education in ethnic minority areas.Integrating Miao culture into kindergarten curriculum is the only way to develop local preschool education.This study mainly investigates the current situation of Miao culture integration into kindergarten curriculum in Qiandongn/an,puts forward the existing problems,and puts forward relevant education suggestions.In this study,questionnaires were sent to 21 kindergartens in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture to investigate the current situation of the integration of Miao culture into kindergarten curriculum.Combined with case observation and using observation and interview methods for in-depth analysis,this study found that:The current situation of Miao culture integrating into kindergarten curriculum in Qiandongnan.(1)The basis of goal setting in the concept level is mainly the study of contemporary society.The goal to be achieved is to improve children's understanding of Miao culture,cultivate children's feelings of loving their own nation and hometown,and generate cultural identity for their own nation.The factors to be considered are the objective requirements of the guidelines and guidelines.The practice level is mainly to observe the children in the class,considering their interests,experience and development level.The main difficulty is that we don't know how to connect the goal of Miao culture with the outline and the guide.(2)At the conceptual level,it is considered appropriate to integrate into the course content,mainly including traditional dance,traditional art and traditional music.The main factors considered are children's life experience and cultural background.The main content of the course is to consult the Miao parents.At the practical level,Miao culture is mainly composed of traditional dance,traditional art and Miao costumes.The difficulty encountered is the lack of understanding of Miao culture,the inability to dig deep into the content that can be integrated into the kindergarten curriculum,the content is relatively single.(3)The main channel to understand Miao culture from the perspective of concept is the narration of others.The existing problems are that teachers don't know enough about Miao culture and lack of ability and experience to carry out Miao culture curriculum.The main ways of implementation are environment creation and teaching activities.At the practical level,Miao parents are invited to wear Miao costumes in festival activities or Miao festivals to participate in living,indoor or outdoor environment creation in the garden to add elements of Miao culture.The difficulties encountered are mainly in the form of organization of activity courses,which are difficult for teachers to grasp.(4)At the conceptual level,the evaluation of the implementation effect of Miao culture into kindergarten curriculum is mainly based on whether children understand Miao culture and whether they are interested in activities.Teachers mainly evaluate occasionally,and the main body of curriculum evaluation is teachers,parents and children.The specific method of evaluation is that teachers have reflection and summary after each teaching activity of Miao culture.The main difficulties encountered are not knowing what the evaluation criteria are and how to evaluate them.The problems existing in the integration of Qiandongnan Miao culture into kindergarten curriculum.(1)The goal is inclined to teach the knowledge and skills of Miao culture,and the emotional goal of Miao culture has not been paid attention to.(2)Lack of understanding of Miao culture,can not dig deep into the content of kindergarten curriculum,the content is repeated and single.(3)Teachers lack the experience and ability to develop Miao culture into kindergarten curriculum.(4)The integration of Miao culture into kindergarten curriculum lacks systematic evaluation system and consciousness.
