Geographic image is an important part of geography,and it is a remarkable feature that distinguishes geography from other disciplines.Geographic images contain a lot of geographic information.Students need to analyze the rules of geographic information in the process of learning geography,and need to sort out and link the relationship between the various elements of geography.Therefore,geographic images are an effective way to cultivate students' thinking ability.However,in reality teaching,geographical images have not been paid enough attention and fully used,especially the study of geographical images as a tool to exercise students thinking ability.Based on the requirements of the new curriculum standards,this paper does the following research on the cultivation of students ' geographical thinking ability by using geographical images:The first part,the introduction part,mainly introduces the background and significance of this study,as well as the research progress at home and abroad.The second part,namely the definition of concepts and theoretical basis,mainly classifies geographical images,analyses the geographical thinking involved in the article,namely regional cognition and comprehensive thinking,and clarifies the theoretical basis followed by this study.The third part,for the questionnaire part,mainly investigates the current situation of Geographic Image Teaching and students ' geographic thinking,and provides practical basis for the teaching mode of geographic image.In the fourth part,on the basis of concept definition and questionnaire,the content of each part of geographical image is further analyzed,and the teaching mode of geographical image is constructed in connection with the cultivation of regional cognition and comprehensive thinking ability.In the fifth part,on the basis of sorting out all kinds of reading methods of geographical images,the corresponding teaching strategies are put forward,and the teaching design based on the teaching mode of geographical images is provided.The sixth part,for the conclusion,is to summarize and summarize the research and analyze the shortcomings.
