Geography Image Teaching And Geographic Image Thinking Ability Training Of Junior High School Grade One Students

Geographical thinking ability development is the basic requirement of compulsory education in our country the geography new curriculum standard, Junior middle school first grade is the basis of geography learning stage and the key stage of training geography image thinking ability. But the survey found that Junior middle school first grade student’s image thinking ability level is low. In addition, Tianjin municipal junior middle school geography education examination focuses on reading and analysis of the map ability of students. This article attempts take the geography image teaching as the breakthrough, provide training junior high school first grade students of related strategy of geographic image thinking ability, hope that have a certain significance for the majority of geography teachers.This study based on the learning theory of constructivism, humanistic, and multiple intelligences, in the form of questionnaires and tests, quantitative and qualitative research on Junior middle school first grade geography image learning ability and geography image thinking ability. The survey found that teachers in the teaching process do not pay attention to the geographic image thinking ability of students, in the minds of students for the learned knowledge is only some fragments of memory. Based on these findings, strategy proposed in this article has a certain operability and usability.Because of different regions, the quality of students have a certain gap, therefore, the proposed does not necessarily apply to all students in all regions. Therefore, I think the way on the future of education, to strive for more out of opportunities to learn and observe in order to make their teaching more open ideas.
