A Comparative Study Between New Version And Old Version Primary One Chinese For National Primary School In Malaysia

In Malaysia,it is not easy for non-Chinese learners to learn Chinese in a mother tongue environment.Coupled with limited study time,it also increases the difficulty of teachers in teaching Chinese.Therefore,a good teaching material is very important.In the past fifteen years,Malaysia Chinese language teaching materials have only"Communicative Chinese","National Primary Hua Yu" and "National Primary Hua Wen",and related research is rare.This thesis takes two national primary school Chinese textbooks in Malaysia,new version and old version "Year One Chinese" as the research object,and compares the basic information of the two textbooks,the writing style of the teaching materials and the arrangement of the language knowledge of the teaching materials.Point out the advantages and disadvantages of the two textbooks and propose improvements.This research is composed of five parts.First of all is the introduction of the research' research status,research significance and research methods.The second part compares the overall situation of the new and old version of the Malaysian National Primary School Chinese textbook,from the perspective of the title,author,editor,publisher,publishing time,applicable object,and it's function.Thirdly,the research compare two textbooks and the textbooks are analyzed from the intros,texts and exercises.At the same time,after the comparative analysis,the problems in each link are pointed out and corresponding suggestions are given.The fourth part is to analyze the two textbooks in the arrangement of language knowledge,mainly from the Chinese,vocabulary,grammar and pronunciation.The fifth part is making a brief conclusion of this research.I hope this study can provide some reference for the preparation of Chinese textbooks in Malaysia,and hopes to help the preparation of Chinese textbooks in Malaysia in the future.
