With the deepening of curriculum reform,the construction of core literacy of the Chinese subject draws the attentions of related scholars and experts again.This campaign aims to improve students in following four aspects of core literacy in the Chinese subject:a)language construction and application,b)mind development and enhancement,c)aesthetic appreciation and creation,and d)cultural heritage and understanding.These can lead students to the stage of all-round development.Loaded with essence of Chinese culture,Chinese ancient poems not only provide students with abundant literal material,but also help them enhance the ability of thinking and form literary merits.Therefore,it is an important step and an inevitable trend to integrate the ideas and requirements of core literacy into the teaching of Chinese ancient poems.This paper shows the research on teaching strategies of Chinese ancient poems in senior high schools with the idea of core literacy.This paper is organized in three chapters.Chapter 1 presents the analysis and research,via surveys and interviews,on the current status of teaching Chinese ancient poems in senior high schools,from the perspectives of both teachers and students.It reveals a)the utilitarian natures of teaching and learning of Chinese ancient poems in the current stage due to the exam-oriented attitude,leading to the loss of interest in Chinese ancient poems for teachers and students;b)the empty talk of core literacy and the ignorance of aesthetic education and actual literacy improvement;c)the lack of ability in appreciation,understanding,and self-study,etc.The analysis on the sources of these problems inspires the study of strategies in the next chapters.Chapters 2 and 3 are the key parts of this paper.Based on the study of problem sources in the previous chapter,the strategies and methods of teaching Chinese ancient poems in senior high schools are studied from traditional,effective teaching methods and the idea of core literacy.Effective teaching includes the teaching objectives,teaching strategies,and teaching methods.Chapter 2 focuses on the objectives and strategies,where the important roles and practical strategies of core literacy integration are presented in the concept level of teaching Chinese ancient poems in senior high schools.Teachers are required to focus not only on the knowledge comprehension and ability enhancement through the study of forms and meanings,but also on the guidance to aesthetic appreciation and cultural influence integrated in such study,trying to practicalize the idea of core literacy in teaching activities.Chapter 3 focuses on the methodologies,where a teaching method of Chinese ancient poems in senior high schools,with the idea of core literacy,is proposed.Based on the traditional and effective teaching method,attempts will be made on improving the feasibility of integrating the four aspects of core literacy into the teaching practice.In addition,corresponding to the informatization in teaching nowadays,means of informatized teaching are provided to teachers as references,aiming to assist in the teaching of Chinese ancient poems,realize the requirement of core literacy,and improve teaching efficiency.
