With the rapid development of information technology,as well as the widespread coverage of internet and the popularization of mobile intelligent devices,the ways of acquiring knowledge have become very diverse,and the Internet education has been flourishing,which makes the traditional teaching mode of education have been strongly impacted.As a derivative of internet online education,WeChat public platform,due to its simple operation and high penetration rate in middle school students,is gradually applied to the teaching by the frontline educators.Under the background of education informationization and new curriculum reform,this paper tries to apply the advantage of WeChat public platform to the geography teaching of junior middle school,and promote the reform of teaching way to make up for the deficiency in traditional geography teaching.This paper uses the methods of Literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview and practice research to define the concept of mobile learning and WeChat public platform based on the theory of autonomous learning,and after reference to a large number of relevant literatures and the feasibility analysis of the application of WeChat public platform in junior middle school geography teaching,The model of micro-credit public platform assisted Junior Middle School geography teaching was constructed.Through teaching case practice,demonstrate its specific application steps,and elaborated the pre-course preview link,after-Class review link design content,and the traditional geography teaching comparison,finally to the teaching implementation of the investigation and analysis,found that WeChat public platform to assist geography teaching advantages and disadvantages,and put forward corresponding teaching suggestions.The research shows that the micro-credit public platform to assist the geography teaching of junior Middle School has many advantages and feasibility,it has positive meaning to change the geography teaching way and improve the geography teaching effect,and also provides the reference for the teaching practice of the first-line geography teacher.The advantage of using WeChat public platform to assist junior Middle School geography teaching is:First,it is a new way of geography teaching,so that the classroom teaching has the delay,the knowledge content can be saved permanently for the students to read and study repeatedly;second,enrich the students ’ geographical knowledge,expand the students ’ geographical view and meet the students ’ individualized learning needs.Third,it is more conducive to the interaction between teachers and students,narrowing the relationship between teachers and students.Its innovation is to integrate information technology and geography teaching,break the time and space limitation of traditional geography teaching,use WeChat public platform to integrate geography teaching resources,optimize teaching process,enhance students ’ information accomplishment and improve their learning efficiency.WeChat public platform is widely used in the field of subject teaching,and the following areas need further improvement:first,optimize the public platform,integrate teaching resources,so that the educational advantages of WeChat public platform can be applied to more subject teaching;second,improve supervision and management mechanism,strengthen the Union of home and school,To allow more parents to understand and support WeChat public platform-assisted teaching methods;Thirdly,to improve the information literacy of teachers and students,and to make information technology more educational and teaching services.
