A Study On The Education Activities Of Chen Hansheng

Chen Hansheng was a famous Marxist educator,historian,economist,sociologist,and social activist.Through his 108 years of life,he had created many advances in China's education system,such as science and the history of revolution,and he leaves behind many stories.As a world-renowned scholar,there has been many studies about Chen Hansheng's rural economy and historical achievements.But very few studies about his education history and thoughts.Therefore,this article guided by the Marxist historical materialism and dialectical materialism,collected extensive original materials and indirect materials,read and analyze carefully and drew on previous research,analysis the causes and consequences of the event,do research on Chen Hansheng's education history,inspire to our country's education.This article describes in detail Chen Hansheng's teaching activities at Peking University,the foundation of Yiwen middle school,the perfect combination of academic and revolution,the attitude that declined being official,the no child left behind in foreign language teaching,the unique ways of teaching postgraduates.Finally,Chen Hansheng's philosophy of thinking can be summed up in his quote base on his educational contribution.“Always adhere to the Marxist thought,determine topics from the practical needs and practice,focus on data integrity and authenticity,stress the importance of universal knowledge of social science;advocate research must be useful for the revolution and construction;focus on first-hand information and stress the importance of foreign language;without the fear of political risk,the no child left behind education characteristics.” Chen Hansheng's long life was too magnificent and mysterious.This article focuses only on his educational aspects that strives to gather comprehensive information and do a systematic study.
