With the vigorous development of Vocational education,the state attaches more and more importance to the training of skilled talents,and various skills competitions are also carried out accordingly.As an outstanding force of skilled talents,high-skilled talents play an important role in the improvement of vocational skills and the progress of science and technology in China.High-skilled talents are not only high in skills,but also indispensable to their own qualities.They are "double-high" talents with skills and accomplishments.Psychological research shows that personality,like intelligence,is the most important factor affecting an individual's behavior.Personality can affect a person's cognition and then his behavior.Therefore,from the perspective of personality,we explore the common characteristics of high-skilled talents and the reasons behind the formation of these personality characteristics,so as to deepen our comprehensive understanding of high-skilled talents,promote the comprehensive development of high-skilled talents,and enhance the efficiency of training skilled talents in China.In this study,the participants who have participated in skill contests above the market and whose skill levels are higher than those of senior workers are selected as the subjects of study.Those who have not participated in skill contests and whose skill levels are lower than those of senior workers are selected as the subjects of study,including 126 high-skilled talents and 109 general skilled talents.By using the Big Five Personality Scale to conduct a questionnaire survey on high-skilled talents and general skilled talents,the common characteristics of high-skilled talents' personality characteristics and the internal differences of high-skilled talents' personality characteristics are obtained.Then,the reasons for the formation of personality characteristics of highly skilled talents are traced through interviews,and the results of the questionnaire are verified and supplemented.Through the above research,the conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)There are common elements in the personality characteristics of highly skilled talents.T-test results show that there are significant differences in personality characteristics between high-skilled talents and general skilled talents in three dimensions: neuroticism,extroversion and responsibility.That is,the emotional stability and self-regulation ability of high-skilled personnel are better than those of general skilled personnel;the level of extroversion and responsibility of high-skilled personnel is significantly higher than that of general skilled personnel.(2)Personality traits of highly skilled personnel have personality components.First,there is an extreme phenomenon in the five dimension score of players' personality.The score of neuroticism and agreeableness dimension was the lowest,and the other three dimensions scored the highest.Secondly,the score of responsibility dimension became higher and higher with the improvement of the entry level and skill level of highly skilled talents.(3)The causes of personality traits of highly skilled talents are affected by congenital and acquired factors.Overall,the proportion of acquired influence is larger,accounting for 58%.The main influencing factors include competition training,important others,atmosphere of the environment,experience of competition and self pressure.
