In the era of rapid economic development. In 1986,China began to implement the nine-year compulsory education system from the legal point of view, pays attention to the cause of Education, trains successors to build socialism with Chinese characteristics and advocates quality education. But at present, the exam-oriented education is still in high school and university.Students choose schools by grading. This leads to the fact that nine-year compulsory education essentially still requires examination scores.Schools rank students. There will be some students ranked low, poor grades, become students in academic difficulties. With the improvement of economic level, parents in families pay more and more attention to children’s education. In response to their needs,Preparatory classes, remedial classes and extra-curricular classes have emerged in the society. This leads to the possibility that students with academic difficulties may involuntarily participate in such tutoring classes. This is not conducive to the physical and mental health of students. There are some conceptual and behavioral problems among students with academic difficulties. It is necessary to solve these problems. In the study of middle school students with academic difficulties,it mainly concentrates on the fields of education and psychology. There are few studies on sociological intervention, but it is enough to prove that it is feasible to study social work.Solving their problems from the perspective of social work, this paper chooses middle school students with academic difficulties as the object of study, using the methods of literature research, interview and non-participatory observation.By solving their academic problems,we can improve their academic performance,so as to promote them to adapt to campus life.
