The physics curriculum of compulsory education should embody the essence of physics,pay attention to the all-round development of students,and cultivate students' scientific literacy.In2011,the Ministry of education promulgated Physics Curriculum Standard of Full-time Compulsory Education.It points out that the physics curriculum of compulsory education is a basic course focusing on experiment and natural science,and in the course of teaching,students should learn scientific knowledge and scientific methods,experience the process of experimental inquiry,cultivate and improve ability to analyze and solve problems.Along with the steady progress of the balanced development of the compulsory education,the same requirements are put forward for the education and teaching of township junior middle schools.This paper finds out through questionnaires that although teachers are very much in favor of using inquiry teaching in experimental courses,they are less frequently used in practical teaching;the roles of teachers and students are improperly positioned in the process of inquiry-based teaching;the students' participation degree is not high and the dependence is strong.In this paper,practical research on the application of inquiry teaching in the physics experiment teaching of junior middle school in township is carried out in order to help teachers to better carry out inquiry-type experimental teaching.This paper is divided into five chapters.In the first chapter,the research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad are introduced.In the second chapter,the basic concepts are defined and the relevant theoretical is introduced.In the third chapter,the questionnaire survey method and interview method were used to understand the current status of inquiry teaching in the physics teaching of township junior middle schools.Then through interviews and reading related literature,effective suggestions for guiding practical teaching were proposed from the aspects of teachers,students,and experimental instruments.In the fourth chapter,a practical plan is designed based on the study of the pioneer three chapters and carried out practical teaching for about 4 months.By comparing the physical learning achievement,the interest in physics learning and the scientific attitude and scientific consciousness of the experimental class and the control class before and after the practical teaching,the effectiveness of inquiry teaching in physics experiment teaching of township junior middle school is examined.The fifth chapter mainly summarizes and rethinks the whole research process.The practical research shows that by designing reasonable teaching scheme and taking reasonable measures,inquiry teaching can promote students' physical learning achievement andinterest in physics effectively,and can improve students' scientific consciousness and scientific attitude to a certain extent.
