In 2015,the Ministry of Education issued the Professional Standards for Special Education Teachers(Trial Implementation),which put forward higher requirements for the professional development of special education teachers.The outstanding problems of special education teachers'professional development are the serious shortage of teachers and teaching assistants,the need to improve their professional level,the need to improve the training system,and the need to improve the treatment guarantee.Using the experience and practice of developed countries for reference,this study attempts to explore whether the use of teacher portfolio can promote teachers'professional development from the perspective of teacher portfolio.Taking a special education school in Guangzhou as an example,60 full-time teachers,including 20 male teachers and 40 female teachers,were selected as the research objects.There are three research tools:Special Education Teacher Professional Development Scale,Teacher Portfolio and Teacher Portfolio Evaluation Manual.Before the formal implementation of the teacher portfolio and its evaluation,60 full-time teachers in a special education school in Guangzhou were investigated with the Professional Development Scale for Special Education Teachers.Practical exploration of teachers'portfolio application,teachers set up teachers'electronic portfolio.After collecting and sorting out in the first semester,at the end of the semester,teachers use the portfolio evaluation manual to carry out teachers'personal evaluation,group evaluation and school evaluation.Teachers reflect on the basis of feedback information.After the second semester,the teachers collect the portfolio,and then use the portfolio evaluation manual for personal self-evaluation,group evaluation and school evaluation.Teachers reflect on the feedback information.Then compare the completion of personal planning,classroom teaching,personal achievements and reflection in the two semesters,teacher Portfolio Evaluation Handbook to test whether teachers have made progress and whether they have improved their professional level.A year later,in order to test whether the professional level of special education teachers has improved,60 full-time teachers were surveyed by questionnaires again.According to the results of implementation,after questionnaire survey and SPSS statistical analysis,compared with the data before and after the use of the portfolio,the comprehensive professional development index D has significantly improved,and the use of the portfolio has a certain role in promoting the professional development of teachers.Through a one-year study,teachers'use of portfolios has promoted the professional development of special education teachers.Teacher portfolio and its evaluation have certain theoretical and practical value.Teachers'portfolio provides an effective way for teachers to improve their personal professional quality and provide professional talent management model for schools.The use of portfolio is a gradual process,but due to the short time of using portfolio,there are still some shortcomings,which need to be further demonstrated by the follow-up study.
