Autism, also known as autismdisorder,is a typical disease of generalized developmental disorder.Three core symptoms are social interaction disorder, communication disorder, narrowinterest and stereotyped behavior.Autistic children are accompanied byobvious mental retardation and social adaptation difficulties such as communication barriers and low self-care ability,long-term guardianship and rehabilitation training are needed.Their families also bear heavy pressure of care and mental stress, and their family functions are severely affected. However, family is the most important welfare resource for every social member.Good family function can help families face the challenge of external events more effectively. Therefore,we should scientifically evaluate the status of family function of autistic children, analyze the related social support and parental stress factors, and explore the corresponding social workers. The intervention strategy can provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the recovery of family function of autistic children. In view of this,137 families of autistic children from K school and 278 families of ordinary children from Y school were randomly selected for this study. The present situation of parental stress, social support and family function of parents of autistic children was studied by using Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scales,Parenti ng Stress Idex Short Form,Social Support Rating Scale, and the relationship among them was analyzed. On this basis, the intervention strategies of social work for the recovery of family function of autistic children are discussed. The analysis found that: firstly, the family intimacy of autistic children is mostly "tanglEdtype",and the "rigid type" of family adaptability is the most;Secondly, families with higher income and educational background have better family cohesion and adaptability;Thirdly, the family intimacy level of ordinary children is significantly higher than that of autistic children, and the degree of dissatisfaction with intimacy and adaptability of autistic children's family is significantly higher than that of ordinary children's family;Fourthly, the parental pressure of parents of autistic children is significantly higher than that of parents of ordinary children, while the overall level of social support of parents of autistic children is significantly lower than that of parents of ordinary children;Fifthly, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that the educational level and subjective support dimension of parents of autistic children had a positive predictive effect on family intimacy, educational level and objective support had a positive predictive effect on family adaptability, and parental grief had a negative predictive effect on family intimacy and adaptability.Based on the above research results on family function of autistic children, this paper analyses the needs of autistic children's families, and puts forward social work intervention strategies to promote family function recovery of autistic children from three levels: case, group and community social work. Finally, further suggestions on macro level are put forward.
