Smart education,a new education model with highly integration of information technology and education,is leading the development and reform in the education field.As the basis of smart education,smart learning has received increasing attention globally.SPOC(Small Private Online Course),a kind of typical paradigm in Post-MOOC Era,puts smart learning idea of learner-center into practice and ensures the good quality of learning,playing an important role in designing smart learning mode and promoting students’ development.Based on analysis of curriculum learning problems in university and combining with advantages of the application of SPOC in smart learning.This research focuses on how to design SPOC smart learning model and instruct the classroom teaching practice to see whether this model can improve students’ learning interests,satisfaction and to examine the effect and the application of the model.Three aspects are mainly studied as follows:Firstly,the research discusses present situation of academic research about SPOC and smart learning both at home and abroad,which reveals that the research on smart learning in our country mostly concentrates on the perspective of theory while the practice research that combined with new technology and new resources is relatively small.However,SPOC happens to meet the needs of smart learning practice with a series of characteristics of smart learning resource.The research also conducts a survey about the current situation and need of college students’ learning mode,finding that there are some problems in curriculum learning mode in Chinese universities and the construction cost of smarter curriculum learning mode in“Internet+” was high.Therefore,this paper designs smart learning mode in order to solve some problems in University Curriculum learning mode and satisfy university students’ needs.Secondly,the practicability and feasibility of constructing SPOC smart learningmode are considered in four parts that is learning materials,learners,teachers and policy guarantee.On the basis of analyzing the typical cases of SPOC,in reference to the elements of smart learning proposed by Prof.Hwang,elements of smart learning supported by SPOC should be designed as five aspects,including learning resources,learning community,learning tools,learning activities and learning environment.Under the guidance of smart learning theory,according to the characteristics of SPOC and based on analyzing five elements of smart learning supported by SPOC,this paper designs smart learning mode,including mode analysis,learning strategy design,learning resource design,design of learning activities and learning evaluation design in order to promote effective learning and improve students’ learning ability.Last,we take“Android mobile development”for example to carry out smart learning practice based on Wanke,an online course platform.The course has been carried out in three stages: preparation,learning and evaluation.Meanwhile,the research tracks and records learners’ online study behavior collected by SPOC platform.we analyze and evaluate students’ learning process,learning result,learning adaptability and satisfaction of learning by questionnaire and depth interview.The research shows that smart learning model supported by SPOC designed in this study has high feasibility and popularization value and it can be used to solve some problems in university curriculum learning mode.The main research conclusion includes:(1)smart learning model supported by SPOC does improve students’ learning;(2)students think high of this model;(3)compared with traditional learning and online learning,this model have obvious advantages;(4)application of the model received a good learning reflection,and satisfy students’ learning needs in the digital age.So,the university authority should encourage teachers and students to use SPOC smart learning model and the reasonable teaching design should be focus on.Besides,they should supervise and improve students’ online learning reflection before class.The difficulties in tasks ashould also be suitable and the students’ learning adaptability in smart learning should be trained.The main contributions of this paper can be seen from two main aspects.For one thing,this research promotes the change of students’ traditional learning beliefs and learning style in smart learning era and develops the theory and practice of smartlearning in our country.For another,this research offers instructive value to further construction and application of SPOC in universities,meets students’ needs of learning and provides a new idea or method for university curriculum reforms in China.
