Biology and chemistry are two closely related disciplines,but in high school biology class,teachers often ignore the teaching of chemistry knowledge,which leads to the lack of depth and breadth of students' understanding of biology.According to the interpretation of "the ordinary high school biology course standard(Tests)",to cultivate and improve students' scientific literacy and realize students' all-round development,the biology course should be combined with other disciplines to promote knowledge.Therefore,the biological teachers should integrate with other disciplines in the biology teaching,especially with the chemical knowledge which closely linked to biology.Based on the theoretical basis of cognitive psychology,Jean Piaget's Constructivism and Lev Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development,this article demonstrates the necessity of teaching related chemical knowledge in high school biology.In addition,the author looks into the chemical knowledge in high school biology teaching status and students' learning situation by questionnaire survey.The results show that the high school biology teachers mainly have the following four questions: 1.High school biology teachers lack sufficient attention in the chemical knowledge;2.Most high school biology teachers' chemica l knowledge is not solid;3.High school biology teachers lack the understanding of students' attitude towards chemical knowledge;4.Some high school biology teachers lack the concept of modern education.Students' questionnaire mainly reflect: 1.Students need related chemical knowledge in biology learning;2.Biology teachers teach little chemical knowledge,which leads to students can't understand related biological knowledge;3.Students expect biology teachers to teach chemistry knowledge in the biology class.According to the questionnaire survey,this article puts forward the following suggestions by the phenomenon of the students' learning chemical knowledge: 1.High school biology teachers learn and pay attention to chemical knowledge actively;2.Fully understanding the situation and the students' demand for chemical knowledge;3.Supplement the information of chemistry knowledge before class;4.Different ways of using different chemical knowledge;5.High school biology teachers should update the educational concept in time.Author designs teaching case by high school biology textbooks(Jiangsu Version),and hopes the results of this study can provide a reference to the teaching of senior high school biology teachers,which can enhance the efficiency of students' biology learning and promote the students to improve their comprehensive knowledge system.
