A·A·Stolyar(А·А·Столяр)was a famous mathematics educator in Former Soviet.He firstly proposed that "mathematics teaching is the teaching of mathematical activities" in the 1970 s,that point of view had a profound influence on the mathematics education of future generations.Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 edition)presents that the content of mathematics curriculum not only includes mathematics,also includes the results of the formation process and implication of mathematics thought method.From this perspective,Stolyar’s mathematical education thoughts is basically consistent with the mathematical concept,therefore,the study of Stolyar ’s mathematical education thought can enrich and develop mathematics education theory in our country and also can guide the practice of mathematics teaching in our country,to improve the quality of teaching.In the study of the subject,mainly adopts the literature method,historical method and case method of Stolyar ’s mathematical education thought system research.Stolyar primary mathematics education thought can be divided into the following several aspects:First,the purpose of mathematics education.Stolyar pointed out that to develop the students’ mathematical thinking is the special and primary purpose of mathematics education,he particularly emphasized the importance of mathematical thinking.Second,the nature of mathematics teaching.Stolyar put forward the idea of "mathematics teaching is the teaching of mathematics activity".It reveals the essence of mathematics teaching.Third,the modernization of mathematics education.Stolyar advocated the modernization of the mathematics education ideas and the teaching methods,he put forward that he mathematics teaching should be based on the modern mathematics thought,to make student’s thinking develop to the modern mathematical thinking.Through the research,it is concluded that the mathematics education thought of Stolyar has some enlightenment on the mathematics education in our country as follows:first,pay more attention to cultivate and develop students’ mathematical thinking;Second,utilize the mathematical activity teaching method effectively;Third,promote the students to grasp and utilize the mathematical language.
