The physics discipline is a natural discipline that is closely related to our lives.Physical knowledge comes from life and is applied to life.The teaching of physics courses is not only to teach students the knowledge theory,but also to cultivate students' scientific inquiry spirit and the ability to explore nature,and to cultivate students' ability of communication and cooperation.Based on the understanding of the students' learning situation and the teaching situation of the teachers,the author changes the status of students and teachers in teaching through the application of case teaching method in middle school education,and teaches students as the main body.In the form of sub-group discussions and self-sponsored topics,the focus is on cultivating students' scientific inquiry skills and promoting their ability to learn independently.This article has five parts.The first part is the research background of case teaching,which mainly introduces the domestic and international application and development status of case teaching method.The development history of case teaching method and the application status of case teaching method in China are expounded,and the research significance of case teaching method in middle school education is analyzed.The second part is the research background of buoyancy case teaching.It mainly introduces the significance of buoyancy course in middle school textbooks and the theoretical basis of buoyancy case teaching research.The third part is the part of the case teaching design process.It mainly introduces the main process of the case teaching method and the author's understanding of the tasks of teachers and students in the case teaching method,laying the foundation for the design and implementation of case teaching.The fourth part is the design and feedback part of the buoyancy case teaching.It mainly introduces the author's summary of the student feedback on the design and implementation of the buoyancy case teaching,and tells the students' feelings about the case teaching and the influence of the case teaching on them.The teacher talked about the advantages and disadvantages of the case teaching method over the traditional teaching method.The fifth part is the summary and prospect of the thesis.It mainly introduces the author's gains in the implementation of the case teaching class and the shortcomings found under the guidance and help of the first-line teachers,as well as some expectations for the development of the case teaching method in secondary education.
