At present,the human society is in an era of great changes and faces a great opportunity.In this era,all of human are wondering: what kind of talents are needed in this era? What kind of talent can seize the opportunity to seek development in this era foothold? So countries put forward the specification of talent,which is called the core quality.China also puts forward the development of Key Competency of Chinese students.which is based on China's national conditions and combines with China's excellent traditional culture.Confucian culture represented by Confucius provides important resources for Chinese students to develop their Key Competency.It can be seen that Confucius' thought has a far-reaching influence and is still valuable and applicable to modern society.This article mainly intends to collate and analyze the existing literature on Confucius' thought and Key Competency and values for students in China,by using the methods of literature research,historical approach.The content,essence and value of concept of students competency are analyzed and elaborated concretely.From the background,theoretical basis and purpose of Confucius' Views of Students Competency.Firstly,it analyses the Viewpoints of Modern in Confucius' Views of Students Competency.First point,the theory of the all-round development.Through analyzing of the Changes of Educational Objectives in Modern China,including the four stages,from ‘moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor ' to ‘Double Base' from ‘Three-Dimensional Target' to ‘Key Competency ',we can find that they are all oriented to the all-round development of human beings.Second point,Psychology.The ‘benevolence,wisdom and courage' put forward by Confucius can be correlated with the ‘cognitive,emotional and volitional' in general psychology,and they are the most basic forms in human psychological activities.Secondly,it analyses the various elements of Confucius' Views of Students Competency and compares Confucius' Views of Students Competency with Key Competency and values for students in China.Although there are differences in their times,expressions and some elements,we can find that both of them have common in some areas such as framework structure and specific content,and both of them are Complete,scientific and contemporary.Finally,it puts forward the modern transformation strategy about Confucius' Views of Students Competency.It is mainly discussed four aspects: Point one,we will absorb the wisdom of traditional education,It set an example for Key Competency by providing important cultural education resources and education ideas.Point two,we will deepen the reform of the curriculum content,so as to reflect the importance of Key Competency in the curriculum contents of each academic segment and each discipline.Point three,we will deepen curriculum content reform,and classroom teaching will play an important role in the cultivation of students' core literacy.Point four,we will improve the classroom teaching evaluation system to accomplish Key Competency.
