Learning self-efficacy is an individual's assessment of confidence level whether one can use his or her existing abilities or skills to accomplish a task.Some studies' results have shown that it has a greater impact on the academic achievement level and mental health of primary school students.Under the pressure of entrance examination to middle school,how to enhance students' learning efficiency,improve sense of learning self-efficacy,improve academic performance and promote their mental health is of great significance to cultivate students' positive coping style under various pressures.The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of positive group psychological counseling on the learning self-efficacy of sixth-grade primary school students.The main content is to study and design a set of positive group psychological counseling programs to enhance the learning self-efficacy,and to verify the effect of positive group psychologycal counseling on learning self-efficacy.In this study,the "Learning Self-Efficacy Scale" was used to investigate the sixth-grade primary school students from six key,general and suburban schools in Hohhot,and to understand the learning self-efficacy of sixth-grade primary school students.Through interviews and surveys of students with different levels of learning self-efficacy,we understand that low learning self-efficacy is caused by low self-evaluation,low evaluation by important others,negative attribution of failure,lack of achievement motivation and poor academic performance.On this basis,we develop positive group psychological counseling programs based on positive psychology.According to the scores of the Learning self-efficacy scale,48 students were selected as the subjects,and experimental group pre-test and post-test design was adopted.The 24 students in the experimental group were given positive psychological counseling for 8 weeks,and 24 students in the control group were not given anything.By comparing the difference of scores before and after the test,the intervention effect of positive group psychological counseling on learning self-efficacy of sixth grade pupils was discussed.The results showed that there was no significant difference in the pre-test scores between the experimental group and the control group.However,the pre-test results of the learning self-efficacy level in the experimental group were significantly different.The post-test results were significantly higher than those before the experiment.There was a significant difference between the post-test results and the test scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than the control group.The results of the experimental study show that positive group psychological counseling is an effective method and means to help sixth-grade students to improve their learning self-efficacy.After positive group psychological counseling activities,the group members evaluated the group activities well and these psychological counseling activities received the expected results.The positive group psychological plan formulated is effective and feasible,and can be promoted and applied in primary school mental health counseling.
