Mind mapping,as a tool of visualizing abstract thinking,has gradually become an indispensable tool in teaching and learning.It mixes the images,lines and colors to present the abstract thinking from the brain with the approach of illustrations,and connects the content in the form of pictures and texts within logical relations,making it has a distinctly structural difference among contents.Therefore,mind mapping can not only bring visual feast to people from color,but also improve people's thinking ability through the connection between knowledge.Knowledge of concept and principle of the second year of high school is multifarious,and the questions are so difficult for students to master.Through complex thinking and building knowledge network map,students can quickly and clearly understand the logical relationship between concepts,which is conducive to students' systematic mastery of knowledge.This paper is divided into six chapters,which described respectively from the introduction,the theoretical overview of mind mapping,the making of mind mapping,the practical research,the analysis of application effect and the research conclusion and reflection.This paper adopts five methods from theory to practice including literature research,questionnaire survey,comparative experiment,case analysis and interview.The theoretical part mainly discusses its theoretical foundation and the research status at home and abroad.The practice part is to apply the mind mapping to the teaching of the concept and principle of high school chemistry.After a semester of teaching,check whether the mind mapping improves students' learning interest and study result to a certain extent by analyzing the experimental data.The teaching practice shows that the organic combination of the think mapping and the knowledge of the concept and principle of the second grade chemistry is an effective learning method,which can stimulate students' interest in learning,effectively establish the network and system of the knowledge of the concept and principle of the second grade chemistry,promote students' academic performance,and facilitate the formation of divergent thinking.At the same time,mind mapping can improve the quality of lesson preparation and shorten the relationship betweenteachers and students.It is hoped that mind mapping can provide some feasible advice for teachers in future chemistry teaching through this research and practice.
