In 2004,the Ministry of Education launched the “Innovation Team Development Plan”,this is expected to focus on converging,selecting and cultivating a number of first-class innovation groups,and forming the “superposition effect” and “chain effect ”of excellent talents.And finally can improve the innovation ability and competitive strength of universities,promote the construction of first-class universities and first-class discipline.After more than ten years of practice,it has proved that the innovation team can indeed accelerate the cultivation and convergence of high-level talents in universities,and form strong joint force to enhance the level of scientific research and the cultivation of innovative talents,it has an important role in supporting and promoting the construction of “first-class universities and first-class discipline ”construction in universities.In order to explore the internal relationship and means of innovation team,which provides support for the construction of first-class discipline in universities.this paper takes the innovation team selected by the Ministry of Education as the research object,and has carried out the investigation and research,and according to the above makes a deep thought on innovation team,which can boost the construction of the first-class discipline.First of all,this section describes the relevant theories of innovation team.Then,through statistical analysis of the Ministry of Education Innovation Team in in period of 2004~2017 about quantity,university distribution,regional distribution,discipline distribution,found that the innovation team has problems in the process of development,such as unreasonable team structure,unbalanced discipline distribution and lack of scientific evaluation system.Secondly,combined with the connotation of first-class discipline and the reality of discipline construction in universities,and sum up the five basic elements of first-class discipline construction: first-class discipline direction,first-class teachers,first-class scientific research,first-class innovation talents and first-class platform conditions.Then,the paper uses the SPSS statistical software to perform correlation coefficient analysis and regression analysis of 105 effective sample data.The results showed that,there is a significant positive correlation between the innovative team and first-class disciplines,and their coefficient was 0.629.Then,the paper discusses the inherent relationship between innovation team and discipline construction.The analysis showed that innovation team plays an important role on supporting discipline construction of universities.Thirdly,case study,through the in-depth analysis and summary of the case of "Research and Application of Evidence Science" and "Financial Mathematics" innovation team,it is generalized that development advantage and experience mainly lied in facing the forefront of social demand,adequate funding for scientific research,emphasizing cultivation of interdiscipline,putting forth effort to train innovative talents,strengthening academic exchange and cooperation,and fostering leading academic talents.These successful experiences have great significance reference to the construction of innovative team in China.Finally,This paper proposes to strengthen the construction of the first-class innovation team from three aspects of scientific research,talent training and platform conditions,in order to enhance the supporting role of the innovation team to the discipline construction,and promote the construction of first-class discipline.
