The Research On The Master Of Arts' Curriculum Quality Assurance System

In recent years,with the exaggeration of the scale of graduate education,the problem about the quality of graduate education highlights,the quality of graduate education has become the focus attention of the education sector and the community.The curriculum quality assurance is a key component of the quality assurance of graduate education,and improving the quality of the curriculum is the key to improve the quality of graduate education.On the curriculum system for graduate students,with significant differences between liberal arts and science,exist in the curriculum quality assurance problem has heterogeneity,so in the system level to solve the problem of quality assurance should be different.According to the literature reviews,the current academic research is more holistic face quality of postgraduate courses from the macro level,specifically liberal arts graduate curriculum quality assurance system problems have less studied.Therefore,in order to understand the College of liberal arts postgraduate course quality guarantee situation,find out the existing problems,this paper based on empirical research by means of questionnaire survey and interviews on the basis of literature analysis,China University of Petroleum(Hua Dong)as a case,the liberal arts graduate curriculum quality assurance system in-depth study has important theoretical significance and practical value.The first chapter of the thesis is about the theory of the curriculum quality assurance system for the master of arts.This part mainly defines the basic concepts,and expounds three theories closely related to postgraduate curriculum quality assurance system: the theory of curriculum development,the theory of total quality management,the theory of system integrity.The second chapter is the investigation and analysis of the present situation of the curriculum quality assurance system of China University of Petroleum(Hua Dong).This part is in the form of a questionnaire,mainly from the aspect of the curriculum system,teaching satisfaction and rationality of teachers' attitude and level,teaching management,curriculum evaluation,analysis of factors affect the quality of curriculum for graduate students of liberal arts curriculum quality assurance system status.Study shows that,overall,the liberal arts graduate curriculum quality assurance system has many problems,such as curriculum structure is unreasonable,curriculum management is inadequate,curriculum evaluation mechanism is not scientific and so on,to some extent,these affected the improvement of graduate students of liberal arts curriculum quality assurance system.The third chapter is about the measures and experience of the curriculum quality assurance system of the graduate students in American universities.American universities have scientific postgraduate course quality assurance system,the external quality assurance system including quality supervision mechanism,administrative mechanism,evaluation of academic accreditation system,internal quality assurance system including the input link,the process of cultivation and output links,this mechanism effectively ensure the quality of graduate courses,the graduate curriculum system,curriculum the implementation of teaching,teaching supervision,teaching evaluation and other aspects of the experience are worthy of our reference.The fourth chapter is about the countermeasures to improve the quality assurance system of the liberal arts graduate students.This part is mainly from three aspects include building scientific and reasonable curriculum teaching platform,improve the effective operation of the curriculum implementation mechanism,establish the student oriented curriculum evaluation system,then put forward countermeasures to improve the graduate students of liberal arts curriculum quality assurance system.
