Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education whose main purpose is to train talents with specialized skills.With the increasing number for talents in economic market and reform of higher education system,a vocational education system which meeting the needs of China's socialist modernization has taken shape.Higher vocational education has made enormous contribution for training a great number of talents with specialized skills and has become the main force of popularization of higher education,at the main time also faced with the industry development opportunities.Under the circumstances of increasing education investment,higher vocational colleges how to seize the current industry development opportunities.Making its clear objective and a suitable strategy system for their own growth is an urgent need to solve the problem for higher vocational colleges.Under the background of regional economic developing,in this paper,a investigation has carried out for Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone,Particularly for Baoji of Guanzhong area.Combined with management strategies and vocational education theory Location theory,the analysis of the external environment from two aspects including macro environment and industry environment has carried out.From the analysis of law,policy of economic,social needs,industry overview of vocational education,the object of education,competitors etc.and put forward the opportunities and threats that Baoji X vocational college is facing.In addition to,through the analysis to the resources that the baoji X vocational college has and existing problems,it is concluded that the advantages and disadvantages of college is existing,Combining with the analysis of baoji X vocational college SWTO matrix.According to previous analysis,it put forward the development strategy adapted to Baoji X vocational college,from the normative management strategy,talent strong school strategy,characteristic strategy,branding strategy four aspects to state college development strategy generally,and gives the corresponding guarantee measures.In the environment of rapid development of higher vocational education,the effective implementation of X vocational education faculty development plan would not only make the school a better competitive advantages and resources,but also provide effective reference for other Higher Vocational Schools.
