A Research On The Present Situation And Strategies Of Career Planning Education In Secondary Vocational Schools

The needs of social development in the new times and the essence of secondary vocational education produce a demand for extensive career planning education in secondary vocational schools. In the recent years, secondary vocational schools in China have developed career planning education, helping vocational students set up accurate career ideals, get clear with their career goals, plan their study activities, and cultivate good vocational consciousness, but due to the short history of career planning education in our country, there are still many deficiencies needing improvement.Starting with the contents analysis of career, career planning and career planning education, this thesis mainly explores the present situation of career planning education in secondary vocational schools, which is based on questionnaire survey with students from Lianyungang Secondary Vocational School, and summarizes the actual demands of students. It takes such methods as literature study, questionnaire study, statistical analysis, comparison analysis, experience revision, and reasoning to research the strategies of carrying out career planning education in secondary vocational schools, in hope of putting forward some concrete proposals and measures for better vocational planning education.By exploring this subject, this thesis intends to solve the common problems in career panning education that secondary vocational schools are confronted with, and help secondary vocational school students with better career orientation, and more successful career planning, and well-defined career ideals, and realize their own self-worth, thus set a foundation for successful career.The subsequent research of this subject will focus on the promotion and development of secondary vocational school career planning, and quality improvement of secondary vocational school students, as well as the development of career panning teaching materials. In this way, career planning education in secondary vocational schools will develop more extensively and intensively, thus accelerate the connotative development of secondary vocational schools.
