Consumerism tide is originated from western capitalist society,which takes mass consumption as the main trend.Since the formation of American society in the 1920 s,under the comprehensive effect of economic globalization and China’s reform and opening up,the trend of consumerism has emerged in China.The trend of consumerism shows a consumption desire that is addicted to consumption and advocates consumption,which conforms to social psychology such as comparing,following the crowd and showing off.It reflects a spiritual emptiness of unsatisfied desire.Consumerism tide is led by consumerism theory,which advocates consumption.It regards the possession of material wealth and consumption as much as possible as the primary requirement for self-satisfaction and personal happiness.It advocates the realization of life happiness through consumption.Consumerism tide has deeply influenced young people’s values and lifestyles,especially in the rapid development of mobile Internet technology today,consumerism tide has accelerated the spread of ideas with the help of the Internet,and the new generation of post-2000 college students growing up in the network environment will inevitably be deeply affected.In view of the fact that consumerism tide brings negative influence to post-2000 college students,this paper discusses this problem in detail in four parts and tries to put forward countermeasures.The first part of consumerism trend has carried on the summary of relevant,illuminates the consumerism trend of relevant concepts in theory,to explore the nature and presents the falsity of the consumerism,symbols,desires and infectious characteristics,and analyzes the consumerism trend in China to produce realistic foundation and theoretical basis,and consumerism trend in China’s contemporary manifestation of the route of transmission network,transmission form diversification and rejuvenation of vulnerable groups.The second part is an empirical survey,which investigates the consumption status of post-2000 college students and affected by consumerist values.After analyzing the basic consumption situation and consumption characteristics of post-2000 college students,it is found that moderate consumption accounts for the mainstream among post-2000 college students,and some students have the tendency of consumerism.The third part analyzes the influence and attribution of consumerism on post-2000 college students.The influence of consumerism on post-2000 college students is manifested in the loss of self-value,the weakening of thrift and morality,the obvious tendency of utilitarianism,and the imbalance of consumer psychology.The influence of consumerism ideological trend on post-2000 college students can be attributed to three aspects: first,the characteristics of consumerism ideological trend itself;second,the influence of living environment,namely the influence of social environment,the inadequacy of school education and family education;third,the individual psychological characteristics of college students themselves.The fourth part explores and analyzes the strategies to deal with the trend of consumerism from the four aspects of school,family,students themselves and network media.Schools and families should do a good job in education and guidance,students should strengthen self-discipline,and network media should consciously do a good job in public opinion guidance.
