Historic figures have a far-reaching impact on the development of human history.Historical life story,successes and failures belong to the category of historical research.The content of history teaching is to help students understand the background,process,significance and evaluation of historical events by taking historical figures as the pioneer organizers of learning history.Character teaching is an indispensable part of history teaching,and no event can exist alone from people.Therefore,this paper discusses the value of historical figures from four aspects: students' interest in learning history,the provision of historical materials,the cultivation of five core literacy of history subjects,and the cultivation of students' healthy personality.At present,the teaching of junior high school history figures has achieved good results,but there are still some problems.This paper investigates the teaching status of junior high school historical figures from three aspects: textbook writing,teacher teaching and student learning.In the preparation of textbooks,investigations were carried out from four aspects:historical distribution,gender distribution,category distribution and presentation.In terms of teacher teaching,interviews with teachers in the internship area were made for the teaching plans of teachers in other regions and the problems found in the classroom recordings,and conclusions were drawn.In terms of student learning,conclusions are drawn from internship experience and interviews with students.Through the investigation of the status quo,we find the problems existing in the teaching of historical figures in junior high school.In the preparation of textbooks,there are problems of the lack of female historical figures and the boring expression of historical figures.In the teaching of teachers,there are problems of neglecting the inner world of historical figures and the over-idealization of positive characters;in theaspect of student learning,there are historical figures.Learning lacks the concept of time and space and lacks the awareness of proof.In response to these questions,puts forward the following suggestions:in the preparation of textbooks,fully tap the historical materials in life,add historical characters theme activities after the unit;in the teaching of teachers,cleverly grasp the details of historical figures,experience the inner feelings of the characters,break stereotypes of positive characters are close to the reality of life;in the aspect of student learning,constructing historical figures of minds,be cautious and discerning,and develop a sense of problem.
