With the popularization of high school education,improving the quality of high school education has become the focus.Specifically,improving the quality of high school education is related to the overall development of secondary education.Girls' school has a long history in Japan and the quality of school running is very high.This paper analyzes the characteristics of running a school in Oin school,which is a high,quality school of Japan.Comparing with Chinese girls' high schools,it provides a reference for the school running,perfects the theory and practice of running girls' schools in China,and promotes the development of secondary education.The research methods such as literature research method,case study method,comparative research method and factor analysis method are the main writing methods for research and application.The application of factor analysis method is beneficial to the analysis of the constraints of the school running in Oin school.In the nearly 100-year history,Oin school has experienced four stages of initial construction,post-war reform,post-war recovery,and maturity and prosperity.It has accumulated rich experience in running schools and became the number one girls' high school in Japan today.Oin aims to cultivate "female social elites" as a school goal,and trains students to become professional and independent women;strict admissions conditions guarantee high-quality of students;the curriculum include liberal and science,and focuses on science and English,which promote the all-round development of women;teachers are all "elite women" from the famous female normal university,which have rich education experience;student activities,school activities,and social practice together constitute a multi-colored student life;Oin school implements the "principal responsibility system",the teachers perform their duties,the organization and management run efficiently;Oin school has trained many outstanding women,and the students are more employed in the direction of science and engineering.Japanese Oin school has formed a school-running characteristic of cultivating “social talents” in science and technology,rooting in the spirit of “learning first” and favoringfemale elite education in the long history.In the process of development,there are also problems in Oin school,firstly,”medium and high consistency” of Oin school increasing the pressure of entrance examination;secondly,the alienation of students' ”go to famous school”make the education lose its real meaning;the unfairness of schooling opportunities caused by elite education is also a problem.The development of girls' education in China should learn useful experience of running a school from Oin school: enrich the goal of running a school in China's girls' high school,highlight individuality and timeliness;establish a diversified evaluation system,adjust evaluation criteria according to the situation of each school;train female education experts,starting from the law of girls' education,explore teachers' professional development of girls' high school in terms of educational concepts and educational methods;the liberal and science courses are equally important,cultivate mathematical and science interests,add mathematics and science courses,and promote the all-round development of girls' high school students;the government should give more support to girls' school,especially in school management experience and the funding legislation of girls' school.
