The Shaping Of Collective Personality In Students' Daily Life

During the establishment of the Nationalist Government(1912)and the full-scale outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression(1937),China was in the midst of a national crisis,requiring a large number of outstanding talents to promote social development and change China's backward situation.During this period,Tsinghua University and Peking University created a large number of outstanding talents for China,such as Feng Youlan,Shen Yinmo,Zhang Shenfu,Luo Jialun,Fu Sinian,Pan Guangdan,Zhao Yuanren,Wu Hao and so on.Under such a bad social background,it is still possible to cultivate so many talents,which is inextricably linked to the daily life of Tsinghua University and North University students.The roots of the daily life of Tsinghua University and North University students are the new political power,the difficult national economy,the "new ideas" and "new culture" and the colorful campus environment.Tsinghua University and Peking University are in the same era background,so students' daily life is common,such as extracurricular hard work;creating newspapers and magazines,free thinking;student club activities are colorful;a graceful dress.However,due to the differences in the reasons for the establishment of the two schools,the students in the two schools have different daily life.These differences are reflected in the different styles of classroom learning,the Tsinghua-style dishes and the diverse choices of Peking University and the strict Tsinghua University.Accommodation with a messy dormitory in Peking University.It is precisely because of the commonality and difference in the daily life of the students of the two schools that the collective personality of the students in the two schools also has commonalities and differences.The commonality of collective personality is characterized by loyalty,patriotism,diligence and self-improvement;the difference in collective personality is manifested as honesty.And "stubborn",self-discipline and sloppy and pragmatic and retreat.”Tsinghua University and Peking University during the Republic of China can be seen as a mirror,which can provide ideas for the transformation and improvement of contemporary universities.By analyzing the shaping of collective personality in the daily life of Tsinghua University and North University students before the Japanese War,it can be clearly recognized that higher education should pay attention to the shaping of college students' personality in daily life.
