Concerns and proposals about parental psychological control,emotional management and interpersonal adaptation of college students are mainly due to several aspects.Firstly,college students belong to one of the most special and representative groups in the current society.Secondly,every college student comes from different families.To a certain extent,it can be said that the mental health of college students is a response to the current social situation,and college students are an important way to export talents.To some extent,their mental health affects the construction of a harmonious society and the development of the whole country.Thirdly,in recent years,viciously incidents have occurred frequently in Colleges and universities,and the mental health problems of college students have gradually attracted widespread social concern.In addition,in the clinical cases of psychological counseling in Colleges and universities,it is found that the problems of emotional management and interpersonal adaptation of college students are particularly prominent.Fourthly,The factors affecting college students’ mental health are very complicated,but as the earliest social environment of the individual,the parents,as the best teachers on our way of growth,must play a key role in the development of our mental health.Therefore,parents’ psychological control,college students’ emotional management and interpersonal adaptation are inevitably related.However,the existing studies have found that the research on psychological control in China lags behind that in other countries.There is a lack of localized research and few empirical studies on the impact of psychological control on emotional managementand interpersonal adaptation of College students.On the basis of summing up the previous research,this study mainly solves the following problems.Firstly,through the investigation of the influence of parental psychological control on interpersonal adaptation and emotional management of College students,the quantitative results of parental psychological control and interpersonal adaptation and emotional management of college students are obtained,which enriches the relevant theories of parental psychological control.Secondly,by investigating and studying the psychological control,interpersonal adaptation and emotional management of College Students’ parents in China,we can test whether emotional management plays a mediating role in the relationship between parental psychological control and interpersonal adaptation of College students.Combined with the quantitative results,it provides guidance and suggestions for the mental health work of college students in China.Thirdly,the discussion of interpersonal adaptation and emotional management of college students through parental psychological control,this paper further explores the impact of it on the mental health of college students in China,and on this basis,puts forward relevant suggestions for family education in China.The results show that there are significant differences in demographic variables in the degree of psychological control,emotional management ability and interpersonal adaptability of college students’ parents,and that psychological control of College Students’ parents can negatively predict emotional management ability and interpersonal adaptability.In addition,emotional management plays a part of mediating role between parents’ psychological control and interpersonal adaptability.It shows that parental psychological control can not only directly predict college students’ interpersonal adaptation,but also indirectly influence interpersonal adaptation through emotional management.
