It is generally accepted that the teacher is always the vital role in the field of education.The vigorous development of the private education cannot live without the regulation and support from the government,neither from the time and effort devoted of the teachers in private school.However,in recent years,the instability and disorderly mobility of teachers in private education has gradually been the stumbling block in the development of private education.Therefore,with the social background of enforcing regulated education,this dissertation will examine the issue of mobility from an institutional perspective.Through literature review and empirical research,this dissertation will choose X School in Songjiang District in Shanghai as an example,with the purpose of analyzing the status quo and features of the mobility of teachers in private primary school as well as middle school.To follow up,this dissertation will illustrate the related issues caused by the institutional factors,and furthermore,propose countermeasures to regulate and promote the adequate mobility of teachers in private school.The chapters of this dissertation will be presented as followed:Chapter 1: Introduction.The background of the issue and significance of the research topic will be briefly analyzed.Besides,the status quo of the related research in this field will be presented as well as the research method for thisdissertation.The most innovated and insightful features of this research will also be clarified.Chapter 2: The conceptual definition and theoretical foundation of the flow of teachers in private school.In this chapter,the main concepts,such as private school and the disorderly mobility of teachers will be clarified.From the point of view of systematic basis and its function,this chapter will point out how the regulation has an impact on the development of individual,on the generation of social order and on the life span of the systematic regulation,so as to illustrate the reasons of the mobility of teachers and to put forward the suggestion for this issue under the institutional perspective.Chapter 3: The analysis of the status quo of the flow of teachers in private school.On the basis of the literature review,the status quo and features of the mobility of teachers will be summarized at the national level.With the interview and surveys of the sample school,the mobility of teachers in this target school will be demonstrated and illustrated.Chapter 4: The reasons of the flow of teachers in private school.This chapter will analyze the reasons of the mobility of teachers from the perspective of the nation level,local government and individual school based on reviewing the policy of the mobility of teachers in private school.This chapter will confirm that the national policy is the fundamental factor,local policy is the dynamic factor and the regulation within school is the direct factor of the mobility of teachers.Chapter 5: The exploration of an adequate and ordered sequence for the flow of teachers in private school.This chapter will propose the measures to promote the ordered sequence of the mobility of teachers in private school from the institutional point of view.It is recommended that the state should clarify the legal status of private school and its teachers,the local government should implement and protect the legal rights of the teachers in private school and the private school itself should optimize the institutional regulation.
