Learning burnout is a kind of continuous negative state of mind in the learning process when students are under academic stress.It can make students physically and mentally exhausted,lose interest in learning,and experience no sense of accomplishment.Self-handicapping refers to any behavior and choice that can increase the opportunity to externalize the cause of failure in order to avoid or reduce the negative impact of poor performance in the performing situation.As a first-line teacher in the secondary vocational school,I find that perhaps because of the past study experience and evaluation,there is a certain degree of learning burnout and self-handicapping in the daily work of secondary vocational school students.Learning burnout and self-handicapping not only affect students' current learning conditions,but also have an effect on their performance after graduation.As a new generation of new forces in the construction of society,their performance and the country's progress and development are also closely related.Therefore,in order to find a solution to solve the problem of students' academic burnout in the work,andto train youths to meet the demands of our current society,it is necessary to carry out this study for secondary vocational school students.Taking the first year and second year students in secondary vocational school in Shanghai as the research object,use the paper investigated,questionnaire survey method and interview method as interview method.The research process is mainly to use the network resources and the library literature to carry out theoretical research on learning burnout and self-handicapping.Then I research the learning burnout and self-handicapping status of 653 secondary school students by using the Youth Learning Burnout Scale and Self-Handicapping Scale.After collecting data and conducting statistical analysis,in order to get a better understanding of the psychological status of students,I added an interview with 20 students.Hope to get a more accurate understanding of the status of secondary school students on learning burnout and self-handicapping.And hope to find the relationship between study burnout and self-handicapping.Also hope to get a more accurate basis on the cur rent social situation of middle school students.The main results were as follows,1.Through the youth learning burnout scale survey,I have found that the overall learning burnout level of secondary vocational school students is below average.But on the average score of secondary vocational school students with low sense of achievement exceeds the theoretical median value in the three aspects of burnout,I have found that the average score of the low achievement dimension of secondary vocational school students exceeds the theoretical median value.2.The effect of gender on the burnout level of secondary vocational school students is not significant.However,there is a significant difference in the aspect of academic alienation of learning burnout scale,and the level of academic alienation of boys is higher than that of girls.3.There is a significant difference in the impact of burnout in the aspect of academic alienation and the aspect of low sense of achievement,on whether or not he is a class cadres in the secondary vocational school students4.Through the self-handicapping scale survey,I find tha the overall level of self-handicapping among secondary vocational school students is below average.5.Study on the correlation between burnout and self-handicapping,I find that there is a significant positive correlation between burnout and self-handicapping.6.In the regression study of learning burnout and self-handicapping,I have found that self-handicapping has a significant positive influence on learning burnout.This study has enriched domestic and international research on learning burnout and self-handicapping,and has further confirmed the relationship between learning burnout and self-handicapping.In addition,through interviews,we have a more accurate understanding of the current social situation and inner thoughts of secondary vocational students.After obtaining the results from the above studies,I discussed and analyzed the results,and want to provided suggestions from the aspects of social development,school management,teacher-student relations,family education,and students 'own cognitive development.I hope that secondary vocational students can get better social support and self-development.The results of this study provide true psychological data support for understanding the current situation of learning burnout and self-handicapping of secondary vocational school students,and can enable more frontline teachers to better understand the status quo of learning burnout and self-handicapping of secondary vocational school students.It is of dual significance to refer to the theory and practice for more teachers in the field.
